2012 Outlook: Stud (low risk)
Last updated on Aug-27-2012 by Matt De LimaFinally, in his third season, Matthew Stafford was fully healthy. It's easy to forget that he only played 13 games in his first two seasons, but he made the most of his opportunities in 2011. With over 5,000 passing yards and 41 touchdown passes, Stafford was in the upper echelon of quarterbacks. Those numbers shouldn't be tough to replicate as long as Calvin Johnson is on the field. The emergence of a more reliable running game could take a small bite into Stafford's fantasy production though. Stafford has quickly established himself as a fantasy QB1 across all formats and he's only 24 years old.
Update (08/27): Stafford sustained an injury to his non-throwing hand. It is a non-issue.

4.02 | FansFantasyFootball.com - I dont want to take a QB, I dont want to take a QB, I dont want to take a QB. Oh hell! I am taking a QB. Stafford is too good and to much of a value pick here to pass up. If I though Vick would still be there at the end of round 5 I'd wait...but he wont be. |
