2011 Outlook: Super Sleeper (high risk/potential)

The third receiver the Redskins selected in the 2008 draft has struggled the most to make an impact, but Kelly remains an intriguing prospect (especially with the addition of a downfield passer like Donovan McNabb). Injuries were a problem for the Oklahoma Sooner when he entered the league and kept Kelly off the field for 11 games during his rookie year, slowing down his progress. Though he managed to play in 15 games last season and went for 5-109 in the season finale, Kelly did not distinguish himself overall -- catching only 20 passes 238 yards and he has yet to find the end zone as a pro. If Mike and Kyle Shanahan take a shine to the 6-4 Kelly early on, then the youngster with good but not great speed could be a factor (especially in the red zone). On the other hand, if he can't beat out the ancient Joey Galloway to claim the third receiver spot, the intriguing prospect tag will be no more.
