2012 Outlook: Solid/Safe Pick
Last updated on Aug-03-2012 by Ben StandigBased on talent and potential, Davis is a legitmate TE1 with upside rivaling those not named Gronk, Graham and Finley. However he's one failed drug test away from a year-long suspension. Playing on a one-year deal, Davis likely stays on the good behavior path and could easily top the Redskins in receptions. One to watch if you miss out on the high-end options.

2012 Experts Mock Draft (June) June 6, 2012 - June 25, 2012 |
6.11 | 2MugsFF.com - He'll likely end up the number one option for RG3, and you have to love his upside. |

2012 Experts Mock Draft (July) July 16 - 27 |
7.07 | 2MugsFF.com - I've said it before, bears repeating: The Skins WR corps is a crap shoot, but Fred Davis should be a consistent target for RG3. Waiting on a TE makes sense this year. |

2012 Experts Mock Draft (August) Aug 14 - 24 |
7.06 | DraftSharks.com - I don't like the fit of any WR here, so I'll go for a high-upside TE instead of reaching there. It doesn't seem like Davis is drawing raves this preseason, but he was top-5 before his suspension last year despite having Rex Grossman and John Beck at QB. |
