2011 Outlook: Deep-league Only
Rosario is the most athletic of the Panthers' tight ends, and was a hot item on the wavier wire early in the 2008-09 season when he caught 7 passes for 96 yards (including the game winning TD pass in Week 1 versus San Diego). Rosario was a one hit wonder back in 2008-09, but led all Carolina tight ends in receiving last season. Rosario hauled in 26 passes for 313 yards and two touchdowns last year. In three years, Rosario has five touchdowns and 630 yards on 50 catches, with his receiving numbers increasing annually. Rosario is headed for a contract year in 2010-11, which should motivate him to play well in order to land a rich deal. Fantasy owners should consider Rosario a deep, deep sleeper at the tight end position this season, worthy of a selection in fantasy drafts only in the deepest of leagues.
