2012 Outlook: Gamble (high risk)
Last updated on Aug-11-2012 by Daniel KallesAfter years of promise that always ended in disappointment, Robinson finally flashed the game many have talked about for so long. In only 14 games with Dallas last year, he set career highs in all categories: receptions (59), yards (858) and touchdowns (11). Then Robinson took those numbers and parlayed them into a big contract with Jacksonville where he becomes a main focus rather than a WR3 target. While Robinson was a pleasant surprise to all fantasy owners last year, don't expect him to duplicate those numbers. He has been very injury prone and Blaine Gabbert is no Tony Romo. Draft with caution.
Update 8-11-2012- Robinson has already missed some time in camp with injuries, expect that to be a common theme with him. While he might start the season as the #1 receiver, don't expect him to end it that way. The newly acquired receiver has a lot of talent, but has rarely stayed healthy. Let someone else draft him.

2012 Experts Mock Draft (June) June 6, 2012 - June 25, 2012 |
12.07 | FantasySharks.com - I'm not a big Gabbert fan, I worry the Jags have themselves a dud but Laurent Robinson had a big year last year with the Cowboys. The Cowboys tried hard to resign him but a 5-year deal worth $32.5M, $14M of which is guaranteed cold hard cash in his pocket, convinced Robinson to pack up the moving truck and head to Jacksonville. It's still a bit of a spin of the wheel, but who isn't in the 12th round? |

13.11 | FFToolbox.com (Ben) - His quarterback scares me, but getting any team's No. 1 WR at this point is nice. |

2012 Experts Mock Draft (August) Aug 14 - 24 |
14.10 | FootballGuys.com - Love his touchdown upside, and Gabbert did look better this preseason - but then again, hard for him not to.. but L-Rob has a nose for the end zone is a great best ball WR |
