2011 Outlook: Deep-league Only

Trent Edwards may be the only player who benefits from the drafting of C.J. Spiller from a fantasy prospective. However, even the explosiveness of Spiller will not help keep Edwards on his feet. The Bills generally failed to do much of anything to improve their offensive line and expecting rookie Ed Wang to protect Edwards' blindside is asking way too much. That leaves Edwards susceptible to the same issues that plagued the Bills' offense last season. Sure, Spiller will get some touches on quick passes and can make things happen and that will help Edwards, but this is a passing game that is back to Edwards and Lee Evans. And when things start going bad, Buffalo will not hesitate to go to Ryan Fitzpatrick (who was just as productive as Edwards last season).
