2013 Outlook: Deep-league Only

Not long ago Jerome Harrison was a fantasy stud late in the 2009 season. That was in Cleveland. But then he was shipped out to Philadelphia. Now he is in Detroit where he is suddenly a fantasy option again. Rookie Mikel Leshoure is out for the year with a torn ACL and that left the Lions with the need to supplement the oft-injured Jahvid Best. Harrison is a dynamic back who can create instant offense, but so is Best. Like Best, Harrison can catch the ball out of the backfield and this duo is more lightning and lightning than thunder and lightning. Keep an eye on the rest of the Lions preseason games to see how the offense uses Best and Harrison or if a bigger back comes in to help shoulder the load. Without Leshoure there is not many options to fill the thunder role, but the Lions will desperately be looking for one.
