2011 Outlook:

During his 7 seasons playing for San Diego, Kassim Osgood was one of the best special teams players in the NFL. The problem is he always wanted the opportunity to play receiver as well. It looks like he will finally get that chance after signing a $6.75 million contract with a $2.2 million signing bonus. The Jags wouldn't have given out that kind of bonus if they didn't want to give Osgood the chance to play receiver. While it is a long shot he will be a starting receiver, it's an even bigger long shot that he will be a good fantasy receiver. Don't worry about Kassim Osgood when it gets to draft day.

August 4, 2010: After Mini Camps and the start of training camp, Osgood hasn't shown he is capable of being an every down receiver and will be primarily used in his best role -- and that is as a special teams gunner. Not draft worthy.
