2011 Outlook: Solid/Safe Pick

Longwell is one of the most reliable kickers in the NFL and finished last season ranked 3rd in fantasy scoring behind only Nate Kaeding and David Akers. The 35 year old also benefits from playing half of his games in the friendly confines of the Metrodome. He finished 2009 with 92% accuracy (23 for 25). If you decide to select a kicker before the last two rounds of your draft, Longwell would be a wise investment as he has the leg to blast 50 yarders and rarely misses inside of the 50 (8-9 from 40-49 yards).
