2014 Outlook: Do Not Draft

Last updated on Jul-02-2014 by Jeb Gorham

Brown will be the Chargers' No. 4 receiver. Keenan Allen and Malcom Floyd are the starters. Eddie Royal will occupy the slot. This leaves little room for Brown, especially if the Chargers plan on getting Ladarius Green on the field in the occasional two-TE set. Brown had some opportunities last season to step up and shine due to Floyd's injury; however, Brown did not impress. His 41/472/1 stat-line did not make the cut and he has been sliding down the depth chart since his arrival in the league. As he proved last season, even if injuries occur around him and everybody else is playing really well, Brown is unable to contribute significant stats for fantasy owners.

10.08 DLF.com - TheFFGhost - Brown is a bit of risky pick here but his upside is undeniable. If he performs even halfway up to his expectations then grabbing him in the 10th could help my team a lot.

9.09 FFMagicMan - Vincent Brown was nothing short of spectacular in his preseason games last year. A broken ankle derailed his season, but he is healthy now and a new coaching regime will have that Chargers' offense hitting on cylinders they haven't dusted off in several years. I expect him to be a household name by the time this season is complete.

10.05 DraftSharks - A broken ankle wiped out Brown's 2nd season. But the whole team gets a restart under the new staff of HC Mike McCoy. Brown has drawn praise and climbed the depth chart this offseason. The next Danario Alexander injury might be the only thing standing between Brown and San Diego's #1 WR spot in 2013.
