4/18 JKILLA1661's Mock Draft/what will happen
1 - HOU: Jadeveon Clowney, DE , South Carolina
If you are preparing your team to win your division, you would draft clowney over all of these quarterbacks. Bortles would be an exception because of his high ceiling.
3 - JAX: Khalil Mack, LB , Buffalo
One of the best players in this draft and can really change the culture of this team.
4 - CLE: Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M
You get the rockstar player that Cleveland desperately needs and he had the best pro day out of any qb in this years class. He showed he has been working extremely hard and is only going to get better. He can lead a team to a Super Bowl.
6 - ATL: Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
Need to protect Matt Ryan and open up the run game more.
8 - MIN: Blake Bortles, QB, Central Florida
He is a great qb to have in Norv Turner's system, I do not see them going Bridgewater if he is available. Look for the Giants to trade up here to draft Mike Evans.
13 - STL: Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma State
Rams loose Finnegan, get more of a solid corner here.
20 - ARI: Calvin Pryor, S, Louisville
Pair him up with Mathieu and you have one of the best secondarys in the league.
22 - PHI: Brandin Cooks, WR , Oregon State
They need receiver BADLY! I thought getting rid of Desean was a terrible move. He made defenses play corners and safeties back, he always had a safety over the top of him, and look what happened. McCoy leads the league in rushing and Riley Cooper has an amazing year. This team will not win the East because of getting rid of Desean, it will be the Redskins.
25 - SD: Bradley Roby, CB , Ohio State
He wants to be a Charger and they have a huge need at that position. Look for them to select him or Kyle Fuller.
26 - CLE: Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech
They just signed Nate Burleson who can be a number 2 wideout, and also could Andrew Hawkins. I do not believe receiver is the number two need for them.
27 - NO: Tim Jernigan, DT, Florida State
He is a great fit to a Rob Ryan defense because he can play all over the line of scrimmage.
29 - NE: Louis Nix, DT, Notre Dame
Patriots could go multiple directions here, we do not know how the Wilfork thing is going to pan out. They need some tight end help badly. Who knows what they will do.
30 - SF: Jason Verrett, CB , TCU
The niners need secondary help badly and this guy is probably one of the most underrated players in this draft. He will be put to cover guys in the slot and will not leave the field whenever the offense goes into a 3 wide receiver set.
31 - DEN: Chris Borland, ILB, Wisconsin
Look for Denver to trade down.
