Updated Draft Order as of Before the Conference Championships. First Mock Draft of the year, but have been doing them for a while! Please rate and comment so I know where to improve. Thank you! Comments will be updated throughout the draft year. Updated on 1/14/14

1 - HOU: Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville
Bill O'Brien tends to be a QB minded guy, and I don't see him trusting Matt Schaub for next season. He was brought in to change the culture of this football team, and I think that if he brings in a new leader on offense that can balance the offense out with Foster Houston will be back to the playoffs sooner rather than later pending injuries.
2 - STL: Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
While I believe the Rams biggest need right now seems to be Wide Receiver, I don't see any being worth taken at 2 yet, and I am not doing trades in this mock draft, so I'm going to give the Rams my BPA, and a position that can almost always be improved, an OT. Ultimately, however, I do believe they do trade down.
3 - JAX: Blake Bortles, QB, Central Florida
The Jaguars are somehow not getting the first pick this season, and with MJD likely leaving this offseason, The Jaguars are pretty much starting from scratch. The best place to start is a QB who can get you some points, and Blake Bortles can do that. Plus, to be honest, the talent level as far as WR and TE goes is not as great as most schools, so if he can do it there, he should be okay in J-Ville.
4 - CLE: Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M
I've been projecting Manziel to the Browns since he beat out Teo for the Heisman. He is a dual treat QB and would be coming in to an okay situation in Cleveland where he has Jordan Cameron, Josh Gordon and a new head coach. He will need a better RB for a balanced offense, but I think they can take that in round 2.
5 - OAK: Jadeveon Clowney, DE , South Carolina
Simply the best player available. I think Oakland will get over his traffic concerns and pick the top talent. The could surprise and go with Watkins, if that would even be a surprise any more. I don't like any QB's left at 5 anyways, and I don't see any Guards that could be taken in the Top 15, let alone Top 5, their next need happens to be DE, which Clowney fills well.
6 - ATL: Cyrus Kouandjio, OL , Alabama
Had a hard time with this pick, but Kouandijo seems to be a decent fit for Atlanta to me. I would like to think with Clowney gone that they would go offense and try and improve Ryan and their running games' blocking. OT does happen to be their #1 need though, so this pick seems to make sense.
7 - TB: Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M
This may seem like an odd pick, but it's certainly possible. David Carr will still be there in the 2nd round, but I think they give Glennon one last shot before calling it quits on him. A wide receiver core of V-Jax, Evans and Williams would be really hard to defend though, and I think if one of them could stay in all 16 games next year they will be much improved. They miss out on Jadeveon Clowney, so I think they go DE or DE/LB in round 2, their #1 need. Will come down to Combine him or Watkins
8 - MIN: Anthony Barr, LB, UCLA
As a Lions fan, I am acting biased against Sammy Watkins to the Vikings, so while Watkins may be nice for the Vikings on offense, I think they actually look to the 2nd or 3rd round for WR and take the top talent Anthony Barr to help their defense. I don't think David Carr is worth it at this point.
9 - BUF: Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson
n my opinion, the Bills get kind of lucky he falls this far, but they get another very capable weapon to help EJ Manual with his passing game. He also happens to be BPA and I don't think they look for a QB quite yet as EJ Manual was a Top 10 pick just last year.
10 - DET: Khalil Mack, LB , Buffalo
As a Lions fan, OLB, DE, DT and ILB are very undervalued needs for us right now. Our starting OLB not named Levy is at this point in time Ashlee Palmer. With Caldwell and Austin coming in and running a Hybrid scheme most likely, we have to look for an OLB/DE. Barr gets taken ahead of us, so I believe it is Khalil Mack. There are lots of talented Wide Receivers we can take in the 2nd. Cornerback will be addressed via a veteran (FA), NOT by the draft, especially at 10 where they are not the BPA.
11 - TEN: Greg Robinson, OT, Auburn
The Titans got their guard in Chance Warmack, they now have a choice between Robinson and Lewan to be their LT of the Future. I think they go with Glenn Robinson just because of the way Auburn performed this season vs. Michigan (Almost National Champs vs losing the Wild Wings bowl). With Whiz being hired as HC I don't see the Titans going Defense in Round 1.
12 - NYG: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
The Giants are very happy with Lewan, as they still get a solid Tackle to help them protect Eli and hopefully reduce his INT totals that orbiting Earth this season. Being from Michigan, and going to see him play this season live, I believe that he has a chance to be a big star in the NFL if he goes to the right team. I think the Giants could be the right team for him this offseason, better than the Cardinals would have been last offseason.
13 - STL: Marqise Lee, WR , USC
After taking Jake Matthews 2nd Overall, the Rams finally get the last of their RGIII picks over with. (Oh wait, that was the 2nd overall pick. The one they traded out of originally? LOL) So, as I mentioned earlier, they finally get a good WR that can play opposite Tavon and that can do well without extremely solid QB play. Only worry for Lee is the injuries, but if he can get over that, than he should have a successful career with Tavon Austin and Sam Bradford.
15 - PIT: Darqueze Dennard, CB , Michigan State
The Steelers haven't had this big of a secondary need in forever. From what I saw of them this year (which to be honest wasn't much as a Lions fan...) they need somebody who can become a shutdown corner in the NFL eventually, and I saw Darqueze play multiple times locally as well, and every week he was pretty consistently good against the other team's top WR. Not saying much in the Big 10? Well, Michigan, Wisconsin, OSU, and some other teams on their schedule this year, do have some decent WR's,
16 - DAL: David Yankey, G , Stanford
More protection for Tony Romo? From what I saw this season from Dallas, it wasn't as bad as in years past, but maybe that's because it didn't appear to be. Maybe he did the same thing Stafford did and started getting the ball out quicker. Whatever adjustments he made, they seemed to reduce his sack total this season, and he was once again ONE Philadelphia game away from a playoff birth.
17 - BAL: Ha'Sean Clinton-Dix, FS, Alabama
This one is also coming soon.
18 - NYJ: Stephon Tuitt, DL , Notre Dame
Tuitt's stock right now for me is a Wildcard, and I have no idea where he's going to end up. I saw him as a 3rd rounder in one mock, and a Top 10 pick in another. The combine will really give me a good idea on where this kid should go, but he has had major success in College going against pretty good opponents every year, so I think he could go to the Jets who are going to improve their Defense in the draft this season.
20 - ARI: Ryan Shazier, LB , Ohio State
Shazier could fall to the 2nd round this offseason, but that's not where I project him to go! I think that he could be a great linebacker that could work with a Patrick Peterson led secondary to build the Cardinal defense up to what could be a deep playoff run as early as next season. They just missed out this season, and if they can get a Solid QB later on (Unless they do go Carr here in this scenario) than they should have a team set for a while into the future.
21 - GB: Eric Ebron, TE, North Carolina
If Finley needs they need to replace Finley. If not, then this duo could be the next version of the Patriots Twin TE set of Hernandez and Gronk, except less injury prone and less prison time. This will be another position where I will need the pre-draft process to help me valuate where the TE's will go. The best on my board happens to be Ebron as he had success with a QB not named Johnny Manziel, but so did Sefarian-Jenkins who seems to be the most balanced of the 3 TE's.
22 - PHI: Trent Murphy, LB, Stanford
Comment coming soon.
23 - KC: Jace Amaro, TE , Texas Tech
Comment coming soon.
24 - CIN: Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma State
Comment coming soon.
25 - SD: Louis Nix, DT, Notre Dame
Comment coming soon.
26 - CLE: Kony Ealy, DL , Missouri
Comment coming soon.
27 - NO: Ra'Shede Hageman, DL , Minnesota
Comment coming soon.
28 - CAR: Vic Beasley, DE, Clemson
Comment coming soon.
30 - SF: Jason Verrett, CB , TCU
Comment coming soon.
31 - DEN: Tim Jernigan, DT, Florida State
Comment coming soon.

Above Average -- I love Buffalo's pick. Hope it works out that way.

Below Average -- When you have the worst defense in the league and almost become statistically the worst defense of all time, no way do you take an o-lineman. I'm speaking about Dallas of course.

Above Average -- Overall a good mock draft however corner is the lions biggest need why wouldn't they take Dennard"?

Average -- If TB goes WR I think they would want Watkins. He has the speed that the Bucs are currently lacking. Personally I'd love for them to get Mack to round out the LB corps.

Average -- I don't see TB taking a wide receiver with so many other needs. Plus the lions are unlikely to address linebacker in the first round with huge needs at WR and in the secondary.

-- -- Author-- As a Lions fan, I noticed that CB is not that big of a need. Especially with the new coaches coming in, Austin and Caldwell. What we need is time to develop our players, and not give up on them. Slay, Bentley, Houston and Mathis will be our 4.

Average -- I agree 100% with the authors reasoning behind Detroit not taking a CB.

Below Average -- No way are the Chiefs taking a tight end in the first round. They are big on Travis Kelsey. More then likely go after another inside linebacker or Wide out, maybe a d end.

Average -- Some interesting picks. As a GB fan, no chance they take a TE with their entire D-Line entering FA and guys like Nix, Ealy, Hageman, Beasley still on the board. Top of the draft looked nice. Love the explanations for each pick. Watkins > Evans

Poor -- Any Lions fan is a loser

Excellent -- Thank you KC person, as I noted I'm not familiar with lower drafting teams needs. Thanks. Thank you as well GB fan, I was a little more familiar with that, and figured with Finley leaving, but considering who is left I see your reasoning. Author.

Above Average -- a great mock as a browns fan i would love to c what johnny football can do i predict in round two that we will go after a halfback (carlos hyde )

Below Average -- Packers may be desperate for DL, S and LB help so think they draft a TE later in the draft
