Average Rank: 3.3 out of 5 (3 votes) -- Rank This Mock Draft

1 - KC: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
At this point seems the most obvious pick; Joeckel is the best player in the draft and even more likely to be the pick if the Chiefs trade incumbent LT Brandon Albert.
2 - JAX: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
The Jaguars come into the draft thinking pass rush first. Werner might not have the athletic upside of Ziggy Ansah but is a safer bet to successfully make the step up.
3 - OAK: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
Having been given the all clear after his heart scare Lotulelei will be rightfully taken in the top 5. Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie making the smart pick.
4 - PHI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
The Eagles could go pass rusher, but Eric Fisher is too good to pass up in a position of need.
5 - DET: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
The Lions secondary needs an upgrade, Milliner is the consensus top cornerback and fits in the top 5.
6 - CLE: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
Cleveland shouldn't try and fill a need here as no prospect really fits, they could look to trade down for more picks but if not Dion Jordan is a top OLB prospect for a 3-4 defense.
7 - ARI: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
Carson Palmer does not completely address the Cardinals needs at QB, however his introduction means Arizona can focus on improving an O-line which gave up a NFL-leading 58 sacks last year. Lane Johnson is the third most talented tackle in the draft but should instantly improve the Cardinals porous O-line.
8 - BUF: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
As it stands Kevin Kolb is at the top of the depth chart and the Bills have made it clear they are willing to trade up for a QB this year. If Buffalo doesn't take Smith here then he's already been taken in the first 7 picks.
9 - NYJ: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
The Jets would have loved for Smith to fall one more spot and knock Mark Sanchez out of his starting spot. Instead they will make do with the huge upside of Ziggy Ansah. The Jets can provide a great environment for his development in a strong defense.
10 - TEN: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
For the Titans it's a toss up between the two premium OG prospects, Warmack and Jonathan Cooper. Warmack gets the nod for his run blocking ability in a Chris Johnson led offense.
11 - SD: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
It's rare to see two OGs taken so early in the first round, but the Chargers are happy to take any help they can anywhere along the O-line.
12 - MIA: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
The Dolphins want to round out their roster in the draft after a busy free agency period. Xavier Rhodes is a sometimes underrated prospect and along with free agent acquisition Brent Grimes improves the Dolphins cornerback group immensely.
13 - TB: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
The Buccaneers may not have this pick depending on the pending trade talks for Darelle Revis. However should they be on the clock here, they would be ecstatic to find a potential top 5 prospect falling to them.
14 - CAR: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Carolina needs help in the trenches, this is a deep draft for defensive line prospects and Sheldon Richardson stands out at this point.
15 - NO: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
The Saints need a lot of help on defense, Mingo can provide that help. He fits into the new 3-4 defense being implemented in New Orleans and excels in getting after the passer.
16 - STL: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
For many Cordarelle Paterson is the top WR prospect in this draft. However Tavon Austin is a more polished prospect and should be able to form a relationship with Sam Bradford reasonably quickly.
17 - PIT: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Jarvis Jones production merits a top 10 pick, however lingering concerns over his spinal stenosis and a poor pro day have him slipping. The Steelers are willing to take the risk on him to bring youth on defense and replace James Harrison.
18 - DAL: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
Kenny Vaccaro is the top safety prospect in this draft and may well be the best available player at this point in the draft. Also filling a need, the Cowboys gain an immediate starter and instantly improve their secondary.
19 - NYG: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
The Giants have no great positions of need, Damontre Moore was at one point touted as a top 5 pick and the Giants need depth at pass rusher, they'll gladly take him at 19.
20 - CHI: Arthur Brown, ILB, Kansas State
The Bears primary concern is replacing their defensive leader in Brian Urlacher. Those are big shoes to fill, however Brown has been shooting up draft boards not just for his linebacking ability but for his strong personality. The Bears would love to mold Brown into their next great linebacker.
21 - CIN: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
Alec Ogletree is another Georgia linebacker who has fallen down draft boards on the strength of off-field concerns. The Bengals have proven they can work with tough personalities and Ogletree has the ability to round out the Bengals linebacking corps.
22 - STL: D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama
With the Rams second pick in the first round they build upon the free agent addition of LT Jake Long by drafting Fluker to marshal the right-hand side of the O-line.
23 - MIN: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
Patterson is the second WR off the board as the Vikings are more willing to take a risk on the high-upside receiver, hopeful that veteran Greg Jennings can guide Patterson in his transition to the NFL.
24 - IND: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
The Colts need help along both lines, however any offensive linemen taken at this point would be a reach. Hankins is a great fit for the Colts 3-4 defense with his huge frame and surprising athleticism.
25 - MIN: Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington
In a pass happy NFC North, a strong cornerback is vital for the Vikings, especially if they are unable to bring Antoine Winfied back at a reduced price. Desmond Trufant has shined through workouts and isn't too much of a reach here.
26 - GB: Datone Jones, DE, UCLA
The Packers need help at a few positions, however the lack of standout performers along the defensive line outside of B.J. Raji allows the Packers to select Datone Jones. Jones fits the bill as an athletic 3-4 end with a greater ability to get after the passer, providing the a key diversion for the Packer's edge rushers.
27 - HOU: Keenan Allen, WR, California
Keenan Allen is a great option for the Texans here as they finally get their compliment to Andre Johnson. Allen has the potential for a very productive rookie year if he can make the step up.
28 - DEN: Jonathan Cyprien, SS, Florida International
Denver needs more from their safeties and they could use this pick on a few prospects. Cyprien is a well rounded player who is able to make plays on the ball in coverage as well as showing good tackling ability.
29 - NE: DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Clemson
Tom Brady can probably work with just about any set of receivers the Patriots give him, the loss of Wes Welker takes away his safety blanket. With his starting receiving options all having injury histories, the Patriots would be smart to select Hopkins who's development would strongly benefit in catching from Brady.
30 - ATL: Cornellius Carradine, DE, Florida State
The Falcons must address the pass rush after the release of John Abraham, the main contributor on a team ranked 28th in sacks. Carradine has injury concerns coming off an ACL injury however his production on the field in getting after the quarterback makes him a potentially great addition for the Falcons.
31 - SF: Eric Reid, FS, LSU
The 49ers have great strength throughout the team however the loss of Dashon Goldson opens up a spot alongside Donte Whitner at safety. Eric Reid has the ability in coverage to not only replace but improve on Goldson's performance for the 49ers.
32 - BAL: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
The Ravens have had a busy offseason so far losing starters in some key positions. The most high profile of these was of course the retirement of future hall of famer Ray Lewis. With the loss of Dannell Ellerbe as well, the Ravens would find their replacement in Minter. Not quite the leader that Lewis was but strong in recognition and good workouts have put paid to concerns about his athleticism.

Above Average -- Bit of a reach on Arthur Brown, and a drop for Moore, but it looks good.

Average -- Seattle probably doesnt have that pick, but pretty good even with a couple reaches (which teams do on their own anyway).

Average -- Good comments, but I wish everyone's mock wasn't pretty much the same! Out of 100's of players why "should" Buffalo take Geno Smith? I mean if it's that obvious to every mocker? Let me know...Nassib beat Geno all 3 meetings decisively!! Geno looked awful!
