Average Rank: 3.0 out of 5 (1 vote) -- Rank This Mock Draft
1 - KC: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
The Chiefs traded for QB Alex Smith and used the franchise tag on LT Branden Albert. Still, Joeckel is the best player in the draft and he stonewalled opposing defensive ends all year with the Aggies. Albert can make the move inside to guard as that was his position in college. He should end up being an All-Pro for the Chiefs.

2 - JAX: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
Jacksonville's pass rush was absolutely terrible again last season as they had the fewest sacks in the NFL. By April 25th, I think Ansah will be strongly considered in the Top 5. Ansah is very raw but already has good football awareness. He hustles to the football and makes plays on defense which the Jaguars need someone like that to do.

3 - OAK: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
The Raiders run defense was horrendous last season and they have many holes on defense. Floyd is a defensive tackle that can stuff the run as well as getting a consistent pass rush to push the pocket on opposing QB's.

4 - PHI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
After Fisher's performances at the Senior Bowl and NFL Scouting Combine. He has positioned himself as being worth a Top 5 pick and could be better than Joeckel. The Eagles take him to fix some of the offensive line problems they had after having so many of their starters get injured in 2012.

5 - DET: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
The Lions need playmakers on the defensive side of the ball and either DeAndre Levy or Justin Durant won't be back next year likely. Jones will give the Lions a playmaker and the Lions don't really care about previous injuries when they draft and probably won't mind that Jones has his spine issue as long as it checks out.

6 - CLE: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
Cleveland needs a good cornerback opposite of CB Joe Haden. I'm not very high on Milliner and think Xavier Rhodes could end up being the better pro but Milliner gets the nod over the deep class of pass rushers and Chance Warmack.

7 - ARI: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
The Cardinals quarterback situation has been an absolute embarrassment since Kurt Warner retired and the Cardinals could end up taking QB. However, the offensive line was also an absolute embarrassment last season. Like Eric Fisher, Johnson has had great weeks at the Senior Bowl and the Combine.

8 - BUF: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
The Bills made a dumb decision to give QB Ryan Fitzpatrick a big contract extension in the middle of the 2011 season and there isn't a QB worth being selected at No. 8 but they more than likely will take Smith if he is there. The Bills organization needs to draft a potential franchise QB.

9 - NYJ: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
Jordan would be a great value selection and he fills a need for the Jets at No. 9 overall. Jordan was impressive during the field drills and also ran well at the NFL Scouting Combine. He's a very good athlete that also has experience in coverage. A guy that Rex Ryan needs on his 3-4 defense.

10 - TEN: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
RB Chris Johnson has said that he wants the Titans to draft some offensive lineman. The Titans GM agrees and has said they will upgrade the interior of the offensive line. Warmack is the best guard to come out of college in years and someone who could go as high as No. 5 overall.

11 - SD: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
Rhodes was impressive at the NFL Scouting Combine and solidified himself there as the No.2 cornerback for most "experts". CB's Quinton Jammer and Antoine Cason are both free agents and Rhodes would be a definite upgrade in the secondary.

12 - MIA: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
Patterson would bring an explosive element to Miami's passing game and he'll be a weapon that QB Ryan Tannehill could throw to. Tannehill needs all the weapons he can get especially considering that the Dolphins probably aren't going to bring back RB Reggie Bush.

13 - TB: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
The Buccaneers should run to the podium if Werner is still available here. Werner might fall here because he isn't a great athlete. He is a great football player though and would be a very good addition for the Buccaneers defensive line rotation.

14 - CAR: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
The Panthers were pretty pathetic at times trying to stop the run last year and with DT Dwan Edwards set to hit free agency, the Panthers could use a run stopper like Lotulelei who can also get pressure. If Lotulelei's heart condition isn't serious, he'll be selected higher.

15 - NO: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
With the Saints moving to the 3-4 defense, they'll need some pass rushers to come off the edge at get to the quarterback. Mingo can be the guy that does that for them as he was an explosive pass rusher at LSU and he has very good size for a 3-4 outside linebacker.

16 - STL: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
Cooper would be an upgrade to the Rams offensive line and would help keep QB Sam Bradford from getting killed. Cooper was impressive at the Scouting Combine showing off his athleticism and movement in space. Cooper would be a good value pick here as he could go as high as No. 10 overall.

17 - PIT: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Moore will probably fall at least 10 spots in the draft after a poor combine performance where he ran a 4.95 forty and did only 12 reps at 225 pounds in the bench press. The Steelers would be getting a very talented football player though and someone who could excel as a 3-4 OLB.

18 - DAL: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
The Cowboys are going to a 4-3 defense in 2013 and they're going to need a defensive tackle that can push the pocket and get after the passer. Richardson is the player that would do very well with defensive ends Anthony Spencer and DeMarcus Ware.

19 - NYG: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
Ogletree is an outstanding athlete that would upgrade the linebacker corps for the Giants. He has his off the field issues, but he can play all 3 positions at linebacker. Ogletree also has great upside due to being a former safety.

20 - CHI: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
Jay Cutler literally looks for no one other than WR Brandon Marshall when throwing the ball. The Bears need a threat that can stretch the field down the seams and Eifert has the capability of doing that for them. The Bears have missed Greg Olsen the last few years.

21 - CIN: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
The safeties are suspect in Cincinnati and Vaccaro would be a BPA selection. Vaccaro is a good prospect that can be moved around in defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer's defense. The Bengals secondary will be looking really good with Leon Hall, Dre Kirkpatrick, Reggie Nelson and Vaccaro.

22 - STL: Keenan Allen, WR, California
Allen could become a very good No.1 receiver in the NFL and that is one element that the Rams are lacking on offense. If the Rams don't resign WR Danny Amendola, this pick is Tavon Austin. I expect the Rams to resign Amendola though.

23 - MIN: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
The Vikings need a defensive tackle next to aging DT Kevin Williams and Hankins could be that player. Hankins would also allow for DE Jared Allen to have more opportunities for game changing sacks. The Vikings would have one of the best defensive lines in the NFL again.

24 - IND: Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington
After drafting offense in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Colts will likely draft for defense in the 2013 NFL Draft Indianapolis needs to find a cornerback across from Vontae Davis. Trufant has looked good throughout the draft process including the Senior Bowl and Scouting Combine.

25 - SEA: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
Head Coach Pete Carroll always surprises in the 1st Round so if Austin is here, he grabs him and uses him all over the field. Austin will bring speed to the Seahawk offense and be a great weapon for QB Russell Wilson to have.

26 - GB: Alex Okafor, DE, Texas
Green Bay could go many directions here but I think Okafor is the best available option out of DE Datone Jones, OT D.J. Fluker, OC Barrett Jones and WR DeAndre Hopkins. Okafor did good during Senior Bowl week and should do well opposite OLB Clay Matthews along with OLB Nick Perry.

27 - HOU: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
ILB Brian Cushing will be entering 2013 coming off an ACL tear and the rest of Houston's inside linebackers just aren't very good. Minter can be a very nice complement to Cushing as the Texans wait to draft a wide receiver to complement WR Andre Johnson.

28 - DEN: Kawann Short, DT, Purdue
Short is a good pass rushing defensive tackle and he would be an upgrade over both of their starters last year. He consistently beat offensive lineman during the one-on-one drills at the Senior Bowl. He will be a key piece to Denver's front-7 that features Von Miller and Elvis Dumervil.

29 - NE: Datone Jones, DE, UCLA
Jones could be used as a defensive end or as a defensive tackle in passing downs for the Patriots. He is versatile and this would be a BPA selection. This spot could also be used for a receiver like DeAndre Hopkins.

30 - ATL: Eddie Lacy, RB, Alabama
With Michael Turner being cut and really no defensive ends or tight ends being worth taken here; the Falcons select Lacy who has a similar body type as Turner but is more explosive. Lacy and Jacquizz Rodgers should be a good 1-2 combo.

31 - SF: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
The 49ers need secondary help along the defense as they looked somewhat lost in the Super Bowl against the Ravens. Banks is a very good long cornerback that has good coverage skills and he would easily start opposite of CB Carlos Rogers.

32 - BAL: D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama
With a 120 million dollar quarterback, you better protect him. Fluker could be the pick here especially if OT Bryant McKinnie isn't resigned. Fluker would have to play right tackle though which means OT Michael Oher would be back at left tackle where he struggles. Or the Ravens could just pick Manti.
