The most important thing I can stress is that with 5 days left before free agency this will all change very soon as teams will fill spots and teams final pressing needs will become more apparent. Nothing is more important to mock drafts than free agency. Saying that...After being spoiled with a phenomenal QB class last year watching 5 go in the first round 2 being the first two picks this years QBs are a mystery. With the value on QBs I can see more than just Geno Smith going in the first round however many will say that is not where they are projected. Besides the QBs however this is a very deep draft class with Dline and WR leading the way. Not a ton of "Star Power" in the first 10 compared to other drafts but talent is plenty. This is a great draft to be picking late because the 12th pick is just as good as the 25th pick in my eyes. Thanks.

1 - KC: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
I expect KC to try to get the second rounder back they gave away to get alex smith. Assuming they will have the number one overall pick I expect andy reid to stick with his philosophy of building a strong O-Line. After Franchising Albert and releasing Eric Winston there is a need at the tackle position. Fisher and Joeckel are the safest picks in the draft and is perfect for a new coach that will want to give his new QB all the help he can get. Other possibility is S. Floyd/L. Joekel
2 - JAX: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
Most people have one of the many pass rushing DEs going here which is a strong possibility. However these 2 OTs are the safest players in the draft and are true blue chip players that will have an impact right away. Not sure whos going to be the QB in Jax but they will need to protect him and want to help MJD as much as possible. If they are taking the best player available Joeckel is the guy. Other possibilities S. Floyd/B. Mingo
3 - OAK: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
Classic Raiders. Everything starts up front and there a lot of great pass rushers and DTs. However Al Davis spirit still lives on in this draft room and they will want a "playmaker" here. Yes Millner is the best CB in the draft however there is much more talent on the board. It does fill a need tho and will make a strong contribution his first year. Other possibility S.Floyd/E.Ansah
4 - PHI: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
Id be stunned if Floyd fell this far but in a draft with a million questions nothing is out of the question. Chip kelly will have to build his O -Line later and take Flyod if he falls to him. A great player to add to the middle of a solid young front 7. If Fisher or Joeckel fall here i expect that to be the choice and even Millner makes a lot of sense. Other possibility S. Richardson
5 - DET: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
This would be a great spot for the lions to trade down with Millner of the board. However Ansah is an absolute animal that would makes me shiver thinking about adding to Suh-Fairley-Vadenbosch. This pick is also assumning they relase Cliff Avril which is still a 50/50. Ansah can do it all and will be a playmaker for years. Other possibility D. Millner/B.Mingo/L.Johnson
6 - CLE: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
After using there first 2 picks on offense last year and taking josh Gordon in the supplemental draft the browns will focus on defense this year and Mingo is just the guy to start. This man is a beast. A phenomenal 3-4 fit as a pass rushing LB. Other possibility S. Richardson/S. Lotulelei
7 - ARI: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
Man the cardinals need to figure out what there going to do long term at QB and to bad so sad for them this is not the draft to do it. Or at least not in the first round. Honestly Jordan will most likely be gone by this point but if hes not Cardnials should jump all over him. An athletic freak who gets all over the field and finds away to get to the QB. A great addition to there front 7. Other possibility L. Johnson/J.Jones
8 - BUF: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
A lot of mocks have Geno Smith going here but from what ive researched hes not a first round pick let alone a top 10 pick. Simply to high to take a player purely on need. Pattersons big knock is his lack of football knowledge on the whiteboard and did not do well in team interviews aka hes DUMB. However put the pads on snap the ball and chuck it up and the guy can make plays. I expect Buf to take a QB later on and develop and if thats the case whoever it is will have plenty of weapons.
9 - NYJ: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
First reaction is to put Cordell Patterson here as Rex Ryan tries one last shot at making a splash before he gets canned. But with a deep WR class and Pattersons off field troubles don't add we'll with the distractions in NY. Star was going top 3 in mocks after the season ended until a mysterious heart condition raised question marks. The guy causes havoc on the inside and will be a great piece to add to last years pick Couples so the jets can get back to Rex's roots of playing Defense.
10 - TEN: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
To me not a sexy pick especially in the top 10 but warmack has been labeled as possibly the best prospect in the draft. I don't agree with that none the less titans are getting great value here and with Hutchinson retiring they won't skip a beat adding a potential pro bowler in there line up for the next ten years. Also helps the progression of jake locker and the reemergence of Chris Johnson. Other possibility J. Cooper/ D. Trufant
11 - SD: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
Considered a reach at one point Johnson had a terrific Senior Bowl and is not the case anymore. Crazy athletic the guy played TE and even QB way back in the day. Not much of a choice for the chargers. To the naked eye Rivers is getting worse but the O-Line is so bad he never has a chance but throw it up to Danario. This is a safe pick for a new HC. Other possibility ....any O-lineman!
12 - MIA: Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington
Dolphins are ready to unload there cap space on Mike Wallace to help Ryan Tannehill and if they cant expect them to take Patterson if hes there. In this case with Vonte davis traded to the colts last year and the possible lost of Sean Smith to Free Agency CB is a glaring need. I have the brother of Marcus higher on my board than Xaiver Rhodes due to his impressive combine. Other possibility L.Johnson/T.Austin
13 - TB: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
The Bucs franchise relies on Josh Freeman's progression. So while holding there breath they'll continue to build a solid D. Werner is tremendous value here and will probably go in the top 5-7 picks. A nasty DE who loves the game of football. Adding him to Gerald McCoy and Mark Barron could be a great core for the next 10 years.
14 - CAR: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
Can you hear it? "Cam Newton hooks up with Tavon Austin on SC Top 10 next..." This combo gives me goosebumps and with Steve Smith getting old this pick makes a lot of sense. This guy can flat out fly and not only will be a nice chess piece for Ron Riveria but he will be able to contribute on special teams as well. One of the most exciting players in this draft in a Percy Harvin/Desean Jackson mold. Other possibility S.Richardson/X.Rhodes
15 - NO: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
It seems like the saints can always use an upgrade on defense bc there offense always puts up a ton of points and teams are forced to pass on them. Even though hes "falling" on a lot of teams boards I dont expect Jones to fall this far. A dominating edge rusher and a perfect fit for the saints new 3-4 scheme. He will add a presence that offenses will always need to keep an eye on. Other possibility K.Vaccaro/S.Richardson
16 - STL: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Dont get me wrong STL has bigger needs than DT but Richardson is to good to pass up at this point and really should go in the top 10. Also given the extra pick the rams have they have the luxury to take the best available player. Team him up with Chris Long and Laurenitus and this just became a strong front 7. Other possibility T. Austin/J.Cooper
17 - PIT: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
Seems like Pittsburgh is always drafting Oline or front 7 with there first pick. Rhodes however fills a need and will be a solid first year contributer and fits the Mike Tomlin mold. A huge help for there secondary. Other possibility...Steelers always go Best on their board in the First round.
18 - DAL: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
I've never seen a team so happy to get a guard in the first round. Dallas has the worst G-C-G combo in the league. Cooper is actually ahead of Warrmack on some teams boards. And will be thrilled to land Cooper. A technical sound mauler he will help open holes for murry and protect romo for years.
19 - NYG: Datone Jones, DE, UCLA
No hes not a glaring need but hes rising up a lot of boards because of his great combine and his athletic play. No team likes to bulk up and add depth to the D Line then the G Men. And seeing there Defense scheme relies heavily on the pass rush it makes sense. He will be plugged in behind Tuck and Osi and will learn from the best. Other possibility M.Teo/J.Cyprien
20 - CHI: D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama
I can see the Bears getting there LB replacement for Urlacher and or Briggs here but with all they've invested in the offense with Cutler and Marshal they need to help them out. DJ will be a starter right away and will finally give the bears a working Oline.
21 - CIN: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
An intriguing pick here Bengals could go a number of directions. There team like the bucs rely on the progression of there QB. So in the mean time they continue to build there Defense. Im personally not as high on Kenny as others but fits the Bengals need to much to pass up. Reggie Nelson and Taylor Mays wont cut it. Day one starter who will add a spark to their Defense. Other possibility A.Ogletree/X.Rhodes
22 - STL: Keenan Allen, WR, California
It's time to go all in on Sam Bradford. Nabbing a playmaker WR here has to be a priority wether they re sign Ammendola or not. Allen was the number 1 prospect coming out of high school a few years back and although hes not a burner he runs tremendous routes add in strong hands and Bradford can sleep a little easier. Dont count out a trade up here from one of the QB needy teams such as the Browns did last year for Weeden.
23 - MIN: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
Free Agency is the biggest factor to the draft and i expect the Viks to add a bug time WR such as Mike Wallace or Greg Jennings. Assuming that adding Ogletree would be a great addition to a Defense that Rick Speilman is slowly getting younger and filling with talent. Hes a beast that unfortunately has had some off the field issues but can play the run and the pass. Let him learn from one of the leagues best Chad Greenway and he could be special. Other possibility J.Hunter/K.Minter
24 - IND: Cornellius Carradine, DE, Florida State
After tremendous success his rookie year Andrew Luck doesn't look like he needs much help. If Indy can build a good defense Colts will be dangerous for years. With out a injury Carradine would be a top 5 pick and even though he has question marks his upside is to good to pass up. Colts DLine is getting old and would get a nice youth injection and would be a great addition to there defense.
25 - SEA: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
My first real surprise pick here. Seahawks are talented and young all the way around. Props to Carroll for building a team that can win for a long time. One thing that they would love to bring in is a legitimate CONSISTENT weapon. Sidney Rice seems to disappear and can't play 16 games and Golden Tate isn't a legitimate threat. Hunter has Moss like abilities with speed and jumping ability in fact if it wasn't for a 2011 knee injury he would be going ahead of Cordell Patterson.
26 - GB: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
Defense will be the top priority for Ted Thompson once again. He nailed the Casey Hayward pick a top talent he nabbed in the third round last year who contributed heavily. After taking Nick Perry in the first and the trio of him Mathews and Raji in the front 7 I think he starts to rebuild his secondary especially with the Loss of Charles Woodson. Banks could start opposite Hayward and have a young high potential duo for years in a pass happy division. Other possibilities M.Hunt/E.Lacy
27 - HOU: DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Clemson
There defense is phenomenal. There offense is missing a piece or two. Foster is one of the best but when the passing game isn't clicking everything seems to sputter. Andre 3K is getting old and Kevin Walter is well Kevin Walter. Hopkins would give Schaub another big body to hit in the middle of the field and give teams fits in the red zone. Big frame with strong hands Hopkins will have a lot of one on one opportunities to make big plays off play action.
28 - DEN: Jonathan Cyprien, SS, Florida International
I could see Eddy Lacy going here to take some pressure of manning. However how there season ended last year I don't think the offense is the problem. There pass D was very suspect with little depth and although I think he has some work to do transitioning to the NFL Cyprien had a good combine and has created a lot of buzz and should be a first round pick.
29 - NE: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Right into there laps. Mel kiper had him as his second best player on his board a couple weeks back. Due to a horrible combine filled with poor numbers and an injury his stock is falling. Belichek will be licking his chops to mold another prospect with a hug ceiling into a team player. Moore has the ability to put up 8-12 sacks and would help the Patriots D big time. And give them what chandler jones has not.
30 - ATL: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
Not a lot of holes for Atlanta. They could certainly use depth but not one huge area of need so they go best available. Eifert is the clear cut number one TE this year. He has the ability to make plays in the middle of the field with his big body and isn't to shabby run blocking either. With The ageless Tony Gonzales ready to walk into Canton Eifert will be a smooth transition for Matty Ice and the offense. Other possibilities K.Short/E.Lacy
31 - SF: Margus Hunt, DE, Southern Methodist
The Jets may be on the clock here when it's all said and done swapping picks for Revis. But if things stay put Hunt would be a High reward pick. Scary to imagine there already dominating front 7 with this guy.. Hunt was a combine freak at 6'8" he put up 38 bench reps and posted sub 5 40 times!! We saw SF defense lose a step when Justin Smith was out and if nothing else will add great depth to there D Line which you can never have enough just ask the Giants.Other Possibilities S.Williams/J.Hankin
32 - BAL: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
Almost impossible to repeat as champions now a days. Guys like Ray Lewis and Matt Birk retiring both hall of famers. Flacco will demand top 5 QB money. And everyone gets a year older. Minter will help soften the blow of Lewis as a pure MLB. He can be groomed from Suggs and Ngata on how to play ravens football. Minter is a southern boy who's loves to hit so he should fit right in.

Below Average -- Ted Thompson may have nailed the Hayward pick but CB is not a need at all! DE, SS, NT, ILB are first and foremost legit needs on defense.
