Average Rank: 3.0 out of 5 (1 vote) -- Rank This Mock Draft
2 - JAX: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
Jacksonville plays a 3-4. As much as I'd like to say that there are more explosive pass rushers Bjoern fits their scheme.

3 - OAK: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
Everyone believes that Geno Smith is going to be taken here, I'm not buying into that. With Lotleleli's heart condition, and Floyd rising he's the best prospect on the board.

4 - PHI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
The Eagles will be perfectly happy with Eric Fisher. More athletic than Jockel and has greater upside, a plug and play player.

5 - DET: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
Milliner quieted some of his critics at the combine, and displayed his skills, he's a lock in the top-10.

6 - CLE: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
There's no way that he'll escape the top-10. I'm stuck between him and Dion Jordan, but because the latter is nursing an injury I'll go with the LSU product.

7 - ARI: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
Several months ago many would have though of Lane Johnson as a reach here, but with Arizona's needs and Johnson's steady climb it all works out.

8 - BUF: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
If Geno Smith doesn't get picked here I see a team trading up in the middle of the first round to get him.

9 - NYJ: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
This is a great pick for the NY Jets. The man is a monster, he's a great pass rusher, and everything you look for in a player.

10 - TEN: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
Although he ran a little slow, he might well be the best player in this draft, and is at great value here.

11 - SD: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
Until Star's heart condition is cleared no one will spend a top-10 pick on him, but he like Warmack presents great value.

12 - MIA: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
Exceptional size and cover skills. Many think Patterson will get picked here but they have worse needs than that.

13 - TB: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
Like Jordan; a freak! This man has only recently started playing football, and his upside alone garners a top-15 pick.

14 - CAR: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Carolina is in dire need of an inside presence, and the rising Richardson provides them just that.

15 - NO: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
Who-dat nation lands the top rated safety in the draft. A great player, with less than exceptional speed, but definitely instinctive.

16 - STL: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
Very raw, but great upside. The Rams have two picks, and I suspect they'll take Patterson or Allen with this pick.

17 - PIT: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Just a couple months ago he was a lock for #2 now he's going in the middle of the first round. The Steelers didn't make the playoffs and Jones will help them recover.

18 - DAL: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
Another guard in the first round, this time he goes to Dallas. The O-Line is terrible, and the only other good pick here is DJ Fluker, but it's too early for to pick him here.

19 - NYG: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
Chase Blackburn is just not going to cut it. Ogletree is a rangy, athletic, and fast athlete whose a plug-and-play player.

20 - CHI: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
Chicago lands the best TE in the draft with Tyler Eifert. Although I can see them potentially trading down.

21 - CIN: Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington
Trufant is quickly rising up draft boards. Cinci just drafted Kirkpatrick, but you can never have enough top flight corners, especially in a quarterback driven league.

22 - STL: D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama
The pick up the top WO and a solid tackle that might be kicked in to guard. Yet, regardless of where he plays the Rams have two great picks.

23 - MIN: Keenan Allen, WR, California
With Percy Harvin likely out the door, the Vikings select arguably the best WO in the draft, and also fill a need.

24 - IND: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
The Colts are making the switch to a 4-3 and are letting to of Dwight Freeney. Although Montgomery was the other LSU DE he will be great in the NFL.

25 - SEA: Kawann Short, DT, Purdue
The Seahawks are on the verge of the Super Bowl, with a bolstered pass rush in the middle they can make it. I can also see them considering Tavon Austin here.

26 - GB: Eddie Lacy, RB, Alabama
People are projecting no RB taken in the first round, that's ludicrous. Lacy will be taken, even if it's not by the Packers, in the first round.

27 - HOU: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
A burning speedster that will be great help to Andre Johnson. They don't have to reach and will land him.

28 - DEN: Barrett Jones, OG, Alabama
Although some might consider this a bit too soon for Barrett Jones he fits any O-Line, and how could you ever have enough protection for Peyton Manning?

29 - NE: David Amerson, CB, North Carolina State
They had Aquib Talib, but continued to get burned. The offense is doing great, and just missed out on some of the top receivers, but the Patriots don't despair with a great pick.

30 - ATL: Alex Okafor, DE, Texas
The Falcons are simply lacking a consistent pass rush, and with Okafor they'll get some help. Although he himself isn't an amazing pass rush he'll help the entire defense as a whole with the task.

31 - SF: Matt Elam, SS, Florida
This is a bit of a question. The 49'ers could go all sorts of ways with this pick. They're pretty much stacked everyone, so your guess is as good as mine as to who they get. Remember the WO they picked last year? Yeah me neither.

32 - BAL: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
I admit, this might be way too late a spot for Manti to get selected, but if the Steelers don't select him I can see him falling this far. Otherwise someone will have to jump back into the first round to pick him up.

Average -- Alright, I like it, Montgomery doesn't fit in a 3-4 and there will not be a running back drafted in the first round. Otherwise nice draft.
