Average Rank: 3.3 out of 5 (3 votes) -- Rank This Mock Draft
1 - KC: Bennie Logan, DT, LSU
KC continues to build inside out. A few of their defensive lineman are leaving after this year, or will be released. They need more production from a strong, more physical standpoint. Moving to the 4-3 will help, and what better way than to start with a 3 technique DT.

2 - JAX: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
Lane has rocketed up draft boards. I still think he has been inconsistent at times. His measureables were off the chart, but if you put the tape in he isn't a dominating tackle. He is a definite steal here if you are looking to protect Gabbert long term, here is the pick.

3 - PHI: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
Philly goes again with defensive help. They got stronger with the UTAH DT in the middle, now they get better on the outside.

4 - DET: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
I originally had a RB here, but I think Detriot is intent on building defensively. They need another pass rush individual. They are taking a chance on Milliner, but that's because they need DB help. This helps the DB, by getting after the passer.

5 - CIN: Arthur Brown, ILB, Kansas State
Bengals go ahead and attack the defense again with another LB. Brown and Olgetree will work well together for years. Brown will play inside, while Olgetree will be the athletic outside LB.

6 - ARI: Dallas Thomas, OT, Tennessee
Arians continues to build the offensive line. They are not going to spend a top pick on a QB, when they can draw one in the 3rd round, of high quality. Thomas is a solid offensive lineman. Good intangibles. He can move inside, but will be a solid RT, across from Fisher. Arizona, these aren't flashy picks, but they are needed.

7 - NYJ: EJ Manuel, QB, Florida State
Jets are intent on getting rid of Sanchez. This is an athletic QB, who can make all of the West Coast throws. He provides more mobility, play making ability, and a stronger arm than Sanchez. Let the competition begin.

8 - TEN: Larry Warford, OG, Kentucky
The Titans build inside. They took Warmack in the first round, now Warford here. Agile, athletic OG and will help build a solid interior for CJ, and the future QB of the Titans.

9 - BUF: DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Clemson
Bills do not get a chance to get their QB. They take a solid WR to pair with Stevie Johnson. Good hands, runs better than 40 time suggest. He would be a great asset to the offense.

10 - MIA: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
Miami wanted Hopkins, but will settle for a little taller, and quick receiver in Hunter. Hunter is a solid possession receiver. He will get you the hards, and can break away for some YAC. Solid choice here to build for Tannehill.

11 - TB: Eric Reid, FS, LSU
BUCS need major help on the secondary. They double up, a little, and they get a safety to pair with their young corner. A physical, and rangy, free safety. Reid is smart, can cover, and play either safety positions.

12 - CAR: Margus Hunt, DE, Southern Methodist
Panthers continue to build inside with Rivera. I predicted earlier a safety here, but I believe they will load up DL. Hunt can kick inside at a 3 technique or play end. Athletic, strong against the run, and has some raw pass rush ability. Good value pick here in 2nd round.

13 - SD: Jesse Williams, DT, Alabama
Chargers took an OLB to start, and they get thicker in the middle. Williams is an athletic NT. He is strong, agile, and will be a force up front. He only falls to 2nd round this year because of the athleticism of other DT's.

14 - STL: Khaseem Greene, OLB, Rutgers
Rams are tempted to go with Robert woods, but need to shore up issues on the defense. Greene is a solid tackler, strong, and can be a force in the middle. He is a perfect fit for Fisher's style of play. Rams continue to get better instantly.

15 - DAL: Travis Frederick, C, Wisconsin
Dallas needs a strong center. Fredrick impressed at the combine. Strong, savvy run blocker, this former Badger is the stout inside presence the 'boys will need for a long time. For the first time in awhile, Dallas is drafting on need.

16 - PIT: Phillip Thomas, SS, Fresno State
PIT goes back to defense. They need to get stronger and this is a solid SS. He can play in the box, savvy, and strong. Solid tackler. He may go up the board if he tests better than expected.

17 - NYG: D.J. Swearinger, FS, South Carolina
There is a run on safeties at this point. The Giants need MAJOR help on the back end. They took Te'o to shore up the run defense, but I'm not sure how much he will help in the pass. Swearinger is a strong, physical player. He is a playmaker in the secondary. Strong pick here.

18 - CHI: Kyle Long, OT, Oregon
This is a good pick here. Long has been shooting up draft boards. He has a few character issues, but with guys like Urlacher and Briggs it shouldn't be an issue. Long will provide some much needed OT help, and kick Carimi inside.

19 - WAS: David Amerson, CB, North Carolina State
A tall athletic DB, that can play safety or DB. After getting out manned against Seattle, Washington takes a page out of the program of the Seahawks - tall, athletic corner.

20 - MIN: Robert Woods, WR, USC
The Vikings are in desperate need of a WR. Woods is a possession receiver. He needs to impress with his 40, and he could be gone higher than this. Vikings need to put Harvin in the slot, and pair him with Woods. Ponder needs this help.

21 - IND: Datone Jones, DE, UCLA
Allowing a few defensive lineman/OLBs to walk was detrimental. However, the Colts will spend in free agency, but they will also address defense in the draft. Jones is a versatile player. He is a solid 5 technique DE. Good pass rusher. Good pressure lineman on the run.

22 - SEA: Jordan Reed, TE, Florida
Seattle gets a solid offensive threat. They are building competition and Reed can do so many things. He is an H-back and creates mismatches.

23 - GB: Barrett Jones, OG, Alabama
Packers need to shore up the offensive line. This is becoming a theme each year. Jones is savvy, incredibly smart. He would be another fantastic center in GB. Pairing him with his former teammate would be good also. Solid value pick here

24 - HOU: Darius Slay, CB, Mississippi State
Texans need help in the secondary. They have an opportunity to get better instantly. They need more interior help, but its a deep draft. Slay can be a Nickel corner right away, and eventual starter.

26 - NE: Colin Anderson, TE, Furman
27 - ATL: Terron Armstead, OT, Arkansas-Pine Bluff
He has spent a terrific amount of time moving up the draft boards. He was projected late first, but he doesnt have the years of competition like others. Athletic lineman for a developing offense. He is a solid pick, and fit here. Should be a starter.

28 - SF: Robert Alford, CB, Southeastern Louisiana
Another solid pick for the 49ers. Harbaugh knows what he is doing. Alford is a versatile player, and a strong ball skill individual. He will provide instant impact on special teams, and at the least be a role player on defense.

29 - BAL: Kiko Alanso, ILB, Oregon
31 - CLE: Mike Glennon, QB, North Carolina State
Browns are not sold on Weeden, or at least not new management. They may be forced to make him the starter, but they are bringing in competition. Browns need a new starter. Glennon has a strong, live arm. Needs more consistency. Weeden may give him time to develop.
