Author's Comments

I made this mock draft according to team needs and who I think will fit the most in their respective teams.

1 - KC: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
The Chiefs need a quarterback, Matt Cassel didn't turn out to be what he was expected to be when he led the Patriots to a 10-6 season. Brady Quinn is a backup at best. The Eagles aren't willing to trade Micheal Vick or Nick Foles, two quarterbacks that Andy Reid loves. Geno Smith is a logical option for the Chiefs.
2 - JAX: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
The Jaguars obviously need help on their defensive line. I think they are pretty good at DT with Tyson Alualu. They need DE. Bjoern Werner is the top defensive end in this draft. Big, strong he can bullrush through offensive linemen and get to the quarterback.
3 - OAK: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
The Raiders have a desperate need for pass-rush as their defense were the worse of the NFL. I see them taking Damontre Moore. Here's a guy that can play defensive end and get you that nice pass-rush off the edge but also man the outside linebacker spot and cover those tight ends and slot receivers and also offer a good contain on the outside.
4 - PHI: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
The Eagles had a desastrous season. Defensive wise it was horrible. They need help in the secondary since the number of big plays down the field were enormous in the 2012 campain. Kenny Vaccaro is the best safety available in this draft and he is a nice fit for this Eagles squad that gave up a lot down the field.
5 - DET: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
The Lions are playing in a tough division where they have to defend receivers like Jordy Nelson, Brandon Marshall, the ermerging Randall Cobb and a lot more in a division where there is lots of depth at receiver. This is why Detroit need a cornerback that can shutdown those talented receivers. Dee Milliner fits well with Detroit.
6 - CLE: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
The Browns obviously need some help receiving wise. Cordarrelle Patterson would fit nicely in this Browns offense lining up opposite to Greg Little. He is a very talented receiver who can make explosive plays down the field. Brandon Weeden would now have two legitimate threats at the receiving spots which would open up the field for Trent Richardson to pound the rock.
7 - ARI: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
The Cardinals need to protect their quarterback whoever it is. Since there is no qb worth giving up a high pick for in the draft they might as well upgrade a position where they are very needy the offensive tackle. Luke Joeckel is the best tackle in this draft and should step up right away at left tackle in a division where he'll be facing elite pass rush.
8 - BUF: Keenan Allen, WR, California
The Bills need a playmaker. Stevie Johnson is not a guy who will step up for your quarterback and make big plays. I think Keenan Allen would be a great fit for the Bills.
9 - NYJ: Mike Glennon, QB, North Carolina State
Let's face it, the Jets need to work on offense. Their quarterback situation is not good. Mark Sanchez simply sucks. Tebow doesn't get playing time and he is not the long term solution for the Jets and Greg McElroy is a good backup at best. Mike Glennon out of NC state could be the quarterback of the future for a franchise trying to compete against Tom Brady and the Patriots.
10 - TEN: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
CJ2K needs a legit offensive line to run behind and Jake Locker needs to have time to throw the football if this team wants to be able to make the playoffs in a division where they face the Houston Texans, the rising Indianapolis Colts and the Jaguars. Chance Warmack could step in immediatly and give some inside protection and open holes for Locker and Johnson.
11 - SD: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
The problem in San Diego is not Rivers. The problem are the guys blocking in front of him. Rivers doesn't have any time to go through his reads because of a pass rush getting to him way to quickly which makes him force throws and ultimately turns the ball over. Eric Fisher should come in and provide a little safety so that Rivers can throw the football.
12 - MIA: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
With Randy Starks being a free-agent, the Dolphins need some help down the middle. Star Lotulelei is the top DT in this draft and will be able to come to south beach and man the middle of this defensive line.
13 - TB: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
With Aqib Talib gone, the Bucs need to fill in that corner back spot.
14 - CAR: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
The Panthers need help defending the run down the middle. Jonathan Hankins out of Ohio State provides that dominant presence up front.
15 - NO: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
The Saints need a linebacker that can rush the quarterback and defend in pass coverage. Manti Te'o can do just that. He has a high football IQ is explosive and is a true tackling machine. He will fill in well in New Orleans.
16 - STL: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
The Rams need to protect Bradford if they hope for him to become the future of this franchise. This is why they go tackle here and select Lane Johnson.
17 - PIT: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
The Steelers need a pass rusher on the outside. They are getting old and their linebackers are less efficient. Bringing some youth to this squad will do them nothing but good and eventually make them contenders again.
18 - DAL: Barrett Jones, OG, Alabama
This may seem like a bit of a reach but Barrett Jones is a very versatile lineman who can play at guard and both the center and tackle postions. He will provide a much needed help on the line for Big D.
19 - NYG: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
Usi Umenyiora is a free-agent and Justin Tuck was a huge disappointment as the NYG pass rush looked nothing like it was during their superbowl run. Ezekiel Ansah should provide a good pass rush opposite to JPP.
20 - CHI: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
Whatever they do during this offseason, the Bears must improve their offensive line which was a true joke this season. Jay Cutler got absolutely destroyed all season long but the Bears still managed to get a 10-6 record.
21 - CIN: Giovani Bernard, RB, North Carolina
The Bengals are very close to being contenders. AJ Green has developped into a threat at wide receiver, Andy Dalton as the qb of the future, their defense is very good now they just need an explosive running game as BJ Green-Ellis isn't the answer. Giovani Bernard will be great in Cinci.
22 - STL: DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Clemson
With Danny Amendola off to free agency, the Rams need a threat at wide receiver, someone Sam Bradford can throw to. DeAndre Hopkins is a perfect fit for the Rams at 22nd overall.
23 - MIN: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
The Vikings finally made a run to the playoffs. They need to work on their defense if they wish to get past the first round. Alec Ogletree should be a good linebacker for the future in Minnesota.
24 - IND: Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington
The Colts cornerbacks srtuggled aside form Vonta'e Davis. This team have their quarterback in Andrew Luck and now need o work on defense. Desmond Trufant would be a good fit in Indi.
25 - SEA: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
The Seahawks have one of the most defenses of the league. They can add some more power into it by adding Sheldon Richardson out of Missouri to man the DT spot for years to come.
26 - GB: Eddie Lacy, RB, Alabama
The Packers need to establish a running game. Their passing game is dominant and their overall offense is one of the best but the Packers have yet to find a dominant rusher. Green didn't get to 500 yards this season. Bringing in Eddie Lacy out of Alabama might just do the trick for the Pack.
27 - HOU: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
The Texans are contenders but they need some more fire power aside of Andre Johnson receiving the football. They have seeked one for years now and Justin Hunter would be a great fit for this offense.
28 - DEN: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
The Broncos were robbed of the AFC championship game last year by a bad defensive play on a hail mary pass from Joe Flacco to Jacoby Jones. They need a run stopper down the middle and Jonathan Jenkins will be able to fit in in this defensive line.
29 - NE: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
The Patriots are in big need of a wr. With Welker possibly going out and Lloyd heading out also, the Patriots have no receivers.Tavon Austin will be an interesting target for Brady who will be throwing to an all new core of receivers.
30 - ATL: Joseph Randle, RB, Oklahoma State
Micheal Turner simply isn't able to carry this Atlanta running game and they are going to need one and fast if they want to win the big prize.
31 - SF: Matt Elam, SS, Florida
The 49ers lost in the superbowl and they want a trip back. Deshawn Goldson is a free agent so they are going to need a safety. Matt Elam will provide a spark in this dominant defense.
32 - BAL: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
The Ravens just won the superbowl and the face of their franchise, Ray Lewis is off to retirement. Dannell Ellerbe is a free-agent so all of a sudden the Ravens are weak at linebacker. Kevin Minter might not be the next Ray Lewis but he will, for sure, become a stud at the next level.
