Second Round tomorrow with positive votes
1 - KC: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
Andy Reid was known as a QB guru in better days. Without any talent at the most valuable position in the NFL, the chiefs WILL be selecting Geno Smith #1 this year. This chiefs team was good enough to make the playoffs a few years ago, give them a franchise QB and they'll have the best outlook of any team in their division after Peyton retires..

2 - OAK: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
(TRADE w/ Jax for a future 3rd and current 4th round pick) Oakland wants Star badly enough to give up some mid-round picks to move up 1 spot. Star is possibly the BPA, and is a nasty player in the trenches. DT is a big need for Oak, as Tommy Kelly and Richard Seymour are likely cap-casualties.

3 - JAX: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Jax just made themselves slightly richer and still gets to pick someone just as talented. Jax's roster is devoid of talent and Moore lead the nation in sacks with 12.5. Moore brings athleticism and versatility to Jax, something the fans will be excited to see on the defensive side.

4 - PHI: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
Philly takes the safe OT pick to repair their O-line. Kelly just announced they are bringing Vick back, so the eagles will have to make Vick's safety a priority. Besides Joeckel is the BPA.

5 - DET: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
Det picks the BPA every year, and Werner is their guy. Not to mention that the Lions face lots of uncertainty at this position with Bosch and Avril possibly on their way out.Werner got a late start to football and has a gobs of potential. The lions could also use a player with a good work ethic and high character.

6 - CLE: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Jones ends his slide here. The Browns have some good young defensive talent in Jabaal Sheard, Phil Taylor, and Joe Haden. They could use another terrorizing pass-rusher and Jones is too good to pass up, even with health concerns.

7 - ARI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
I can't believe a D2 prospect has a chance to make it into the top 10. Sure he has excellent athleticism and played well at the senior bowl, but NFL and D2 do not compare. However so many people are hot on Fisher, and the Cards have an awful o-line that they'll have to get some help for their future signal caller.

8 - BUF: EJ Manuel, QB, Florida State
Yup, the Bills continue to make questionable draft choices. The Bills spent so much in free agency last year on their d-fense that they'll surely need an offensive play maker to keep up with Brady and Tannehill. Manuel played superb at the senior bowl and showed off his arm strength and deep throw accuracy. He also has plus mobility, and Buddy Nix is going to talk himself into this pick since Mike Glennon has fallen off the wagon.

9 - NYJ: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
Ansah has seen a nice boost to his draft stock recently, and he'll land in NY. Ansah is loaded with potential, but it might take a couple years to develop like JPP. That's ok, because the jets can wait as they set themselves up for the #1 pick next year.

10 - TEN: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
The Titans select the #1 CB with the tenth pick. This pick makes tons of sense because they were trying to acquire a CB in the first last year, but no one was available. With the emergence of Schaub and particularly Luck, the Titans will need to lock down the pass to contend for the playoffs.

11 - SD: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
Philip Rivers has played awful the last two seasons. For the charger's new coaching staff, they need to hope that a personnel change at OL and WR will help Rivers return to his old self. Even if it means reaching for an OT.

12 - MIA: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
Tannehill was a pleasant surprise last season. He had a good o-line but poor receivers. Hartline is a good #2 receiver, but Tannehill could really blossom with a true #1 receiver. Unfortunately he'll likely lose stud LT Jake Long in FA, but there is no OT worthy of this pick. So MIA takes a talented young WR to pair with their talented young QB.

13 - TB: Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington
TB needs CB help. They hit it big with Mark Barron last year, but their secondary took a huge hit with the Aqib Taib trade. Plus Eric Wright is garbage and Rodne Barber is soon to retire. Jonathan Banks lost momentum after a late season knee injury, so the Bucs will reach for Trufant after a super Senior Bowl showing where he shut down every player.

14 - CAR: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
Haruki Nakamura is terrible and cost them an important divisional game against the Falcons on a 60yd hail mary with under a minute left. CAR needs DT help, but Rivera is stilll on the hot seat and needs a more immediate impact player. With Chris Gamble likely to be a cap casualty, an upgrade in the secondary is imminent.

15 - NO: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
Jordan is a raw, but talented player with a large frame. He has versatility, and Rob Ryan will love to have a relentless edge rusher to add to NO's new 3-4.

16 - STL: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
STL takes the BPA on the o-line. Warmack is a man-child and is a terror in the trenches. He'll give Bradford good coverage in the pocket and Jackson a good push in the run game.

17 - PIT: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
Mingo was projected to be a top-5 pick halfway through the season, but his team lost some games and he was a non-factor. He is still very talented and a steal at this point. His teammate Sam Montgomery could go here as well.

18 - DAL: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
The cowboys need d-line help, and Richardson provides good value here. A lot of experts are saying Dallas is a good fit for Richardson, if he makes it this far.

19 - NYG: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
Ogletree is a stud safety-turn linebacker prospect. He is a superb athlete and could possibly play any position at LB. The giants need help at LB and this pick makes a lot of sense. The giants try not to pick players with poor character, and a pot possession charge (lol) may affect their decision.

20 - CHI: Zach Ertz, TE, Stanford
Yes, Cutler needs o-line help, but no OT is worthy here. Jonathan Cooper could very likely be the pick, but they will talk themselves out of a guard prospect at the 20th pick. DeCastro grade better and went 24th last year. The Bears haven't had a true receiving TE since Olson, and the new coaching staff could use a reliable big man over the middle to compliment Marshall. Ertz is widely regarded as the #1 TE prospect due to his excellent showing at the Rose Bowl and Eifert struggled with a poorQB

21 - CIN: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
Te'o falls here. Yes Te'o is a bit strange and people will associate his homosexuality with character concerns, but the Bengals will pick anybody. They need LB help and Te'o was projected in the top 5 before the BCS championship game.

22 - STL: Keenan Allen, WR, California
The rams land their future #1 receiver in Allen. He reminds me of Anquan Boldin with his size, but Allen is slightly quicker with less sure hands. Justin Hunter could be in play here, but Allen looks more like a complete package.

23 - MIN: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
The Vikings have had a giant hole at DT since Pat Williams retired. Hankins is a massive DT and makes a lot of sense. John Jenkins could leap frog Hankins for this pick though. Justin Hunter is also in play here since Harvin can't stay healthy, he's likely to leave in FA, and they have no #2 receiver.

24 - IND: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
Jenkins will be a powerful mass in the middle of the d-line for any team. Chris Johnson and Arian Foster like to rush off tackle though, but a big NT would allow indy to rush LB's off the edge.

25 - SEA: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
Seattle already has big money invested in Rice and nice depth with Baldwin and Tate. WR could very well be this pick because Rice can't stay healthy, Tate was a bust until this season, and Baldwin still looks like a bust. The Seahawks are a good team all around, and they could take a WR to help Wilson out.

26 - GB: Giovani Bernard, RB, North Carolina
I am in LOVE With Bernard. Bernard had a 6.7 ypc and 500 receiving yard this year. The packers would be much more potent (hard to believe) on offense with a true RB. Bernard reminds me of Ray Rice's build with Chris Johnson's speed. He is small in stature, but he carries so much power in his lower legs. Bernard has the speed to take it to the house any play. Rodgers would be dangerous with Kuhn and Bernard catching balls out of the backfield.

27 - HOU: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
Houston has question marks at ILB with cushing tearing his ACL and no real depth behind him. The texans are a very well-round team and could use this pick for additional security.

28 - DEN: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
Denver picked Wolfe last year, but they have been using him at DE and still need DT help. Floyd would fit nicely in John Fox's defense and is a steal at this point. Many have him in the top 15 and some even think he'd make a late sure into the top 10. He'll fall because of how other DT's fit into the schemes of teams picking in the top half of the first round.

29 - NE: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
Yes, NE acquired Talib, but they still need depth and Rhodes is gaining momentum for a late first round pick. Rhodes is a physical corner with good press-coverage. Success of large physical corners like Sherman and Browner will help corners in their mold be selected early. Talib could be leave via FA anyways, and this pick has Belichick all over it.

30 - ATL: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
The falcons could use a pass-rusher like Montgomery to collapse the pocket on all of their NFC-south rivals. Abraham is getting old and Ray Edwards was a bust acquisition. Montgomery had the potential to be a top 5 pick this year, but he played poorly this year. He's still worthy of a late first round pick.

31 - SF: Matt Elam, SS, Florida
The niners get one hell of a steal with this pick. Elam is an absolute terror. He looks like the second coming of Bob Sanders (look up a highlight video of his). He's only 5'10" but he has immense strength, good speed, and good ball skills. He also has a nose for the ball carrier. He frequently lunges with his shoulder pad and makes bone-chilling plays in the back field. He could be the first safety picked, and will make the niners forget all about Goldson.

32 - BAL: DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Clemson
Boldin is getting old. He was great in the playoffs, but the Ravens need to transition to younger receivers, especially when they throw big money at Flacco. Hopkins could be a #1 receiver, with Torrey Smith at the x and Jacoby Jones at the slot. That'd be scary.
