1 - KC: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
Andy Reid is known for his ability to develop quarterbacks so no pressure to take one here. Joeckel is an elite left tackle prospect and would form a great bookend tandem with Eric Winston.
2 - JAX: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
Jacksonville had 20 sacks last year, dead last in the league. New head coach Gus Bradley knows the importance of a good pass rusher. Werner combines top talent with a relentless motor.
3 - OAK: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
Richard Seymour is a free agent and Tommy Kelly will likely be cut because of his salary. Lotulelei is a force inside and would make a great tandem there with Lamar Houston.
4 - PHI: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
Chip Kelly needs a quarterback who can run his system since Michael Vick most likely won't be back. Smith is big, mobile and can accurately get the ball down field.
5 - DET: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Kyle Vanden Bosch is over the hill and Cliff Avril is leaving. Moore is an elite pass rusher that can take some pressure off of Suh and Fairley.
6 - CLE: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
If not for his medical red flag I think this guy would go 2nd. The Browns are moving back to a 34 defense and Jones would give them that pass rushing linebacker you need in that system.
7 - ARI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
Jake Long, Ryan Clady and Branden Albert are all going to be on the open market and Arizona will probably sign one of them. Until that actually happens though, Fisher is the pick.
8 - BUF: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
The Bills are talking about going back to a 34 defense and if they do they will need to overhaul the linebackers. Ogletree is the most versatile defender in the draft and would bring playmaking ability to the second level of the defense.
9 - NYJ: Keenan Allen, WR, California
The Jets desperately need playmakers for Sanchez, or whoever might be playing quarterback for them. Allen is the best of the bunch.
10 - TEN: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
Head coach Mike Munchak, a hall of fame guard, is loving this pick. Warmack will blow open holes for a revitalized Chris Johnson.
11 - SD: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
Johnson's size and athleticism has him shooting up boards. If Rivers is ever going to get back to form, it will start with his protection up front.
12 - MIA: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
A slew of talented receivers will hit the open market and Miami has the cap space to sign two of them. Until that happens, receiver remains a big need, and Hunter is a good fit for Philbin's offense.
13 - TB: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
This fills a big need and Milliner's skill set fits what they like to do on defense.
14 - CAR: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
The Panthers need to shore up their run defense. Hankins has the size and strength to stuff the run and keep blockers off of Kuechley.
15 - NO: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
Rob Ryan brings his 34 defense to town. The most important position of a 34 defense is a NT and Jenkins is the prototypical guy for the position.
16 - STL: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
A deep center fielder like Vaccaro would perfectly compliment two press corners like Jenkins and Finnegan.
17 - PIT: Jesse Williams, DT, Alabama
Casey Hampton has been the anchor of the Steelers 34 defense for the past decade but is now on his way out. Williams played the position under Nick Saban and knows how to eat space and occupy blockers.
18 - DAL: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Richardson is an active, penetrating tackle and could make a great three technique in the Tampa 2.
19 - NYG: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
Umenyiora is on the way out and Tuck doesn't look the same. The key to the Giants success recently has been a plethorea of pass rushers and Ansah continues the tradition.
20 - CHI: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
The Bears need to upgrade the talent on the offensive line. Cooper can play all three interrior positions and can be their best pass blocker from day one.
21 - CIN: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
His slide stops here. Te'o would bring leadership and playmaking ability to the linebacking core.
22 - STL: D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama
Fluker is the prototypical road grading right tackle, but his long arms will allow him to also excel in pass blocking.
23 - MIN: Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor
It is unclear if Harvin will be back next season but even if he is, more help is needed for Ponder. Williams is a pure deep threat.
24 - IND: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
Dwight Freeney couldn't cut it in the 34 so pass rushing help is needed.
25 - SEA: Datone Jones, DE, UCLA
Pete Carroll made no secret that he wants to add another pass rusher. Jones is versatile and fits what Carroll likes.
26 - GB: Giovani Bernard, RB, North Carolina
Bernard is the most well rounded running back in the draft. Has the receiving ability and pass protection ability to play in a pass happy offense.
27 - HOU: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
Floyd would form a dangerous trio up front with Watt and Smith.
28 - DEN: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
Torrey Smith made America aware that Champ Bailey's days are numbered. Banks is a big physical corner that fits Jack Del Rio's mold.
29 - NE: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
The guy is an electric slot receiver and will go a long way in replacing Wes Welker.
30 - ATL: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
Must replace Tony Gonzalez.
31 - SF: Matt Elam, SS, Florida
Must replace Dashon Goldson.
32 - BAL: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
Must replace Ray Lewis.

Poor -- So whats KC going to do with Brandon Alberts. Let's just forget about are biggest need QB!
Wednesday, February 13, 2013 8:31 PM
Excellent -- Well he is a free agent so he could walk or if they resign him they could move him to his natural guard position. Either way Joeckel would be an upgrade. Reid worked wonders with guys like Feeley, Kolb and Foles so why do they have to take a qb first?
