This is just another take on what could happen in the 2013 draft. Obviously free agency will effect what happens here. Trades: BUF-SD: BUF gives pick 8 to SD for pick 11 and 3rd rounder. BUF-CIN: BUF gives CIN pick 11 for pick 21 and 2nd rounder. CHI-MIN: CHI gives MIN pick 20 for pick 23, 4th and 6th rounder (from Ten). IND-JAC: IND gives JAC pick 24 for 2nd and 3rd rounder. DEN-ARI: DEN gives ARI pick 28 for 2nd round, 7th rounder and swap 3rds. BAL-BUF: BAL gives BUF pick 32 for 2nd rounder and 4th rounder.
1 - KC: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
The Chiefs are most likely taking the best player available and that is without a doubt Aggie OT. Joeckel anchored a line that alowed just 9 sacks in 13 games. This pick obviously hinges on what KC does with Brandon Albert this offseason, but we'll assume he walks. This pick could be Geno Smith but look for Andy Reid to bring in a veteran QB,; he's already hinted at Alex Smith coming to KC.

2 - JAX: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
Jacksonville now has a new head coach and GM so QB is likely here, but with Gus Bradley being a defensive minded guy the Jags will look to shore up their 30th ranked D. Werner is in Jacksonville's back yard and is considered by many to be the best defensive player on the board. The Jags do have some talent at DE, but the Germinator is versatile and can play both inside and outside and is just as good against the run as he is verse the pass.

3 - OAK: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
This is the first time the Raiders have had a round 1 selection since 2010 and they can't afford to miss. Oakland has a lot of needs and Reggie Mckenzie will probably go BPA. Lotulelei has drawn comparisons to Haloti Ngata and those comparisons offer merit. Lotulelei can fit into both a 4-3 ad 3-4 and with a lot of change occurring on Oakland's D-Line makes perfect sense.

4 - PHI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
The Eagles could go in a number of directions with this pick and no one really knows what Chip Kelly will do. However, the demise of the Eagles in 2012 was their O-Line. A lot of that was due to injury, but with everyone healthy the Eagles only have one starting caliber OT (and he's coming off Achilles surgery). enter Fisher a good looking OT who's performance at the Senior Bowl has him skyrocketing up boards. 4th overall is probably too early for Fisher, but the Eagles will roll the dice.

5 - DET: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
The past 3 years have all seen an SEC CB go in the top 7 and that trend continues this year. Detroit usually goes BPA and Milliner is arguably the best talent on the board. The Lions have had problems in their secondary for years now and Milliner would go a long way to solving them.

6 - CLE: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Jarvis Jones could be considered the best talent in this draft, but there are concerns about his spinal stenosis. However, a medical red flag won't stop the Browns from pulling the trigger. New defensive coordinator Ray Horton loves blitzing linebackers and the two time All-American can line up all over in a 3-4 defense, wreaking havoc.

7 - ARI: Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas
The biggest surprise of the first round: Tyler Wilson is the first QB taken. The Cardinals have issues on the offensive line, but will address them in later rounds. New coach Bruce Arians will fall in love with Wilson's toughness and grit. Additionally, the former Razorback possess all the tangible skills a QB needs to thrive in the NFL and Arians will want to develop him.

8 - SD: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
Trade! The Chargers have a solid front seven on defensive and a solid QB and young skill players on offense. However, there are concerns along their O-Line. Warmack is one of the best guard prospects of the century and will be a great fit in Mike McCoy's scheme. The Titans also need a guard, so San Diego will need to jump Tennessee to land Warmack.

9 - NYJ: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
The Jets have a new GM, cap problems and a few needs to address on the offensive side of the ball. However, with Rex Ryan the Jets will continue to develop their defense, as no offensive prospect is a can't miss here. Mingo may be raw, but he's a physical freak. "Keke" would give the Jets a scary combo up front with Gang Green's past two first rounders Wilkerson and Coples.

10 - TEN: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
The Titans have bigger needs than defensive end (OG and DB), but there's no guard or corner worth taking here. Much has been made about the Titans poor pass rush, but they did record 39 sacks in 2012. The problem was that their sacks were spread out and that they don't have a big time pass rusher. Moore would be a steal here, as he's a top 7 talent, and would help form a good pass rush trio with Derrick Morgan and Kamerion Wimbley at DE. You can never have too many pass rushers.

11 - CIN: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
Trade! The Bengals move up 10 spots, but because of the Carson Palmer trade giving away a second round pick is like chump change. Cinci has a boat load of money to spend this offseason, so what they do in free agency will effect this pick. So assuming the Bengals retain Michael Johnson, Geno Atkins and add some weapons for Dalton, their biggest need will be in the secondary. Vaccaro possess rare cover skills for a strong safety and would be an instant upgrade over Chris Crocker.

12 - MIA: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
Like Cincinnati, the Dolphins have a ton of cap room, but they also could be loosing some big time free agents (Jake Long and Sean Smith). It is a possibility that Greg Jennings or Mike Wallace comes to South Beach, but Miami needs to add as many weapons for Tannehill as possible. Patterson is the best of a deep wide receiver class and possesses the perfect combination of speed, size, and hands to be a dangerous receiver at the next level.

13 - TB: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
Tampa also has some financial flexibility to work with this offseason and could be players for Darrelle Revis. If the Bucs do acquire a top flight CB this pick with be used to upgrade their front seven. Having said that you can always use playmakers in the secondary. Banks may seem like a reach here, but he's the number 2 corner on the board (unless Tampa deems local FSU star Xavier Rhodes better). The most recent Jim Thorpe award winner is great vs the run and can return punts.

14 - CAR: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
Unlike our previous 3 teams, Carolina has a cap room nightmare to deal with. But while the Panthers could be forced to cut some contributors they have a talented nucleus in place. Last year the Panther neglected to address their problems at defensive tackle, now they are in need of desperate help along the interior of their D-Line. Floyd is really quick and does a good job against the run.

15 - NO: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
This is good value for the Saints at 15. New Orleans is switching to a 3-4 and will need a pass rusher to make their new scheme work. Jordan is lean tweener that has some scouts saying Aldon Smith. The former Duck would be play across from Cameron Jordan (no relation) to create a very formidable pass rush combo.

16 - STL: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
It's no secret that the Rams have 2 first round picks and are coming off a very encouraging season. However there are still a few holes on St. Louis's roster, and there's a big hole at offensive tackle. Lane Johnson is rising quickly up draft boards and could help fix the Ram's problems upfront. Johnson along with Roger Saffold would actually give St. Louis's two solid bookends on their O-Line.

17 - PIT: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
The Steelers had a disappointing campaign in 2012 and are faced with some tough tasks this offseason. Their defense is aging and they may lose their best offensive weapon. However, Pittsburgh will address their linebacking corps. We can sit here a talk about the whole hoax situation, but at the end of the day Te'o is worth a first round pick. Manti may never be the star he was in college, but he could thrive in the middle of Dick Lebeau's defensive.

18 - DAL: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Dallas brought in Monte Kiffin to run their D meaning that they are switching to a 4-3 Tampa 2 scheme. I don't know what the 'Boys plan on doing with Demarcus Ware, Jay Ratliff, and Anthony Sperncer (if he comes back), but it's same to assume that they'll need help on the D-Line. Richardson may not be a great sack guy, but he generates constant pressure in the QB's face, something essential for the Tampa 2 to work. This pick could change if they recruit Texas native, Henry Melton to come home.

19 - NYG: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
Another surprise pick here. The Giants could bulk up their O-Line or go anywhere on the defensive side of the ball. But remember Michael Boley was just released and Jerry Reese may not want to pass on a talent like Ogletree. The former 'Dawg played exceptional towards the end of the season and could be considered the best linebacker in this class. Big Blue's defense had it's fair share of struggles in 2012 and could use a new face in the middle of it.

20 - MIN: Keenan Allen, WR, California
Trade! The Vikings look to jump St. Louis to grab the number 2 receiver in this draft. Minnesota could address their defense here, but Allen is simply to good to let slide. Even though Jarius Wright became a solid target for Ponder towards the end of last year, the Vikings need another wider receiver, especially with Harvin's injury history. the Cal product may not be a clear cut number one receiver, but he's a safe pick that will help add to the offensive outside of Adrian Peterson.

21 - BUF: Ryan Nassib, QB, Syracuse
The Bills finally make a selection and they get their guy. Doug Marrone, Buffalo's new coach, has worked with Nassib for the past 4 years and will get to work with him for a little bit longer. Buddy Nix also said that he wanted to draft a franchise QB for Buffalo, so this pick makes too much sense. Nassib may not have the strongest or most accurate arm, but he is a smart QB that offers some upside. The Bills also picked up some additional picks and still got their guy.

22 - STL: DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Clemson
The Rams just miss out on Keenan Allen, but Deandre Hopkins is a pretty good consolation prize. In fact one coukd argue that Hopkins is the better prospect than Allen. Hopkins was the number 2 wide receiver at Clemson, but he'll be a number 1 in the NFL. He is great after the catch and despite his small frame, willing to go up and get the ball. With Lane Johnson and Hopkins the Rams are on well their way to taking their offense to the next level.

23 - CHI: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
The Bears have a lot of issues on their O-Line, but will probably address them in free agency. While their struggles upfront have been well documented, their lack of tight end play has flown under the radar. With an offensive minded head coach coming in the Bears will look to give Jay Cutler all the weapons they can. Eifert may not be in the mold of Jimmy Graham or Rob Gronkowski, but he is comparable to Jermaine Greisham or Kyle Rudolph.

24 - JAX: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
Trade! The wait is over. Many consider him to be the best QB in the draft, but just like Aaron Rodgers and Brady Quinn he inexplicably falls. Jacksonville has already added a premier defensive player and snags one of the draft's best QB's. Sure they could have waited to or so picks and drafted Mike Glennon, but Smith can serve as the new face of the franchise. Despite Geno's talent this is still a risky pick, but it's a lot safer than taking him second overall.

25 - SEA: Datone Jones, DE, UCLA
This marks the second year in a row where Seattle drafts a D-End in the first round and rightfully so. Bruce Irvin was a decent pass rushing specialists and Chris Clemons had another good year, but the Seahawks still need help along the D-Line. Datone Jones may seem better suited for a 304, but the Seahawks like their defensive ends big. The former Bruin is versatile and does a good job adsorbing blockers, but still gets after the quarterback.

26 - GB: Margus Hunt, DE, Southern Methodist
This doesn't seem like your typical Packers' selection. Sure Green Bay needs help defensively, but this seems too risky for the Packers. Hunt is very raw, but has enormous potential and fits Green Bay's scheme perfectly. Hunt has been nicknamed the Eastern Bloc, due to his Estonian heritage and ability to block field goals. The Packers could improve their O-Line and stand to loose so free agents at WR and TE, so they could go in a number of directions.

27 - HOU: D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama
The Texans biggest need is at wide receiver, but they seem content to stick with their current group of pass catchers. Therefore, they'll look to address their issues at right tackle. Fluker probably isn't a first round talent, but he fits Houston's scheme well. He's a good enough pass blocker, but excels in the run game. He's enormous (6'6 350 lbs), but moves well and will work in Kubiak's zone scheme. The Texans could go D here, but their offense has been a bigger concern for them lately.

28 - ARI: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
Trade! The Cardinals have already added a new QB and they now address their protection issues. Cooper is a top 15 talent, but falls because he is a guard. We all know about Arizona's woes on the offensive line, but Cooper is a big time prospect that could help right the ship.

29 - NE: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
The Patriots are so tempted to draft Tavon Austin here, but assuming Wes Welker comes back, they'll have bigger areas of need. Aqib Talib may not return and Devin McCourtey is now a safety meaning New England has a major need a CB. Rhodes is a physical corner that can play man or cover 2, perfect for what Belichick may do in 2013. Rhodes can get burned every now and then, but he'd still be an instant starter for the Pats.

30 - ATL: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
The league wide assumption is that Atlanta will draft Tony Gonzalez's replacement here, but they have bigger areas of need (plus the offense will be fine with just Julio and Roddy). Outside of Jon Abraham, the Falcons need help along their D-Line. Ansah is extremely raw, but is a physical specimen. He is a defensive end by trade, but can move inside on third down. "Ziggy" could evolve to be a force vs both the run and pass in the NFL>

31 - SF: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
The 49ers could use another wide receiver, but they spent a first round pick last year on AJ Jenkins, so they look elsewhere. The '9ers have a nice D-Line, but Justin Smith is aging and depth is a concern. Hankins could probably play 2 or 3 positions on the line for Vc Fangio and would help improve an already elite defense. the former Buckeye was once considered a top 10 pick and offers great value here. Depending on what happens in free agency this pick could be a safety.

32 - BUF: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
Trade! The Bills didn't acquire al those extra picks for nothing. Buffalo gives their rookie signal caller a new weapon in Austin. The West Virginia star possesses a unique skill set and could give the Bills an new element to go along with Stevie Johnson and CJ Spiller. The Nassib and Austin combo is one of high risk and high reward, but worth a roll of the dice to revive a struggling franchise.

-- There's been quite a few reports that Smith could be traded to KC. This mock is all based of speculation. Free agency and the combine have yet to occur, so now all I can do is speculate.

Average -- Not bad. I dont think Cincy would trade up, only because Mike Browns rarely done that in the past. Not saying it wont happen, just low probability. I do like the pick of Vaccaro adn arthur brown
