jkrc717's Mock Draft (Round 1)

1 - KC: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
I don't see Reid drafting a QB in the 1st round. Especially when there are no QB's in the draft worth the top spot.
2 - JAX: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
Caldwell went on to say that he still thinks Blaine Gabbert deserves a chance to prove himself
3 - OAK: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
Richard Seymour might be done with the Raiders. If not, this would be one hell of a tandem.
4 - PHI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
OL needs to be addressed.
5 - DET: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Cliff Avril is a free agent and Kyle Vanden Bosch was cut. Moore is the type of DE that Jim Schwartz likes.
6 - CLE: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
Browns need to improve their pass rush. Mingo is a 3-4 pass rusher.
7 - ARI: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
Cards get lucky here. I believe this will be a draft in which teams don't go nuts for QB's and reach.
8 - BUF: Matt Barkley, QB, USC
Bills reach for Barkley.
9 - NYJ: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Jarvis Jones might be the most talented player in the draft, but teams will shy away from his spinal cord issue's. Jets take a chance.
10 - TEN: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
Dee Millner could be the pick, but I think Ansah is too good of a talent to pass up.
11 - SD: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
Both Quentin Jammer and Antoine Cason will be free agents
12 - MIA: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
Vaccaro makes sense here.
13 - TB: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
After losing the troubled Talib, Bucs go with the next best CB prospect.
14 - CAR: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
Panthers allowed too many rush yards.
15 - NO: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
Saints are moving back to a 3-4. Jordan would be a good fit here as a rush LB.
16 - STL: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
Warmack is a special talent. Rams need to upgrade their OL.
17 - PIT: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
Jenkins replaces 35-year old free agent Casey Hampton
18 - DAL: Alex Okafor, DE, Texas
Perfect player for Kiffin's defense.
19 - NYG: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
Like him or hate him, Te'o is a special talent who makes sense here.
20 - CHI: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
We don't know the future of Urlacher. Ogletree could be his replacement.
21 - CIN: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
Bengals need to upgrade the LB'ers. They miss out on T'eo and Ogletree so they grab Minter.
22 - STL: Keenan Allen, WR, California
Amendola is a FA and the Rams signed the delusional Titus Young. Young will be a 3rd WR at best. Bradford needs weapons.
23 - MIN: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
Vikes need a legit WR to help out Peterson.
24 - IND: Jesse Williams, DT, Alabama
Colts can't stop the run. They go for a NT.
25 - SEA: Kawann Short, DT, Purdue
Hawks should improve the interior line.
26 - GB: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
Protection for Rogers.
27 - HOU: Arthur Brown, ILB, Kansas State
Uncertainty with the Texans LB's.
28 - DEN: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
Champ Bailey can't do it forever and got torched by Torry Smith. Rhodes can play both CB and S.
29 - NE: David Amerson, CB, North Carolina State
Amerson is a special player whether it be corner or safety. Pat's will groom him nice.
30 - ATL: Zach Ertz, TE, Stanford
Falcons look for a TE with Tony Gonzales career up in the air.
31 - SF: Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington
Trufant's performance at the senior bowl earned him a trip to the 1st round. 49'ers could use depth at the CB position.
32 - BAL: Barrett Jones, OG, Alabama
Even though the Ravens OL did a great job in the playoffs, they did a lot of shuffling and they found a good balance at the right time. However, I believe the OL is unreliable. Birk won't play for much longer and Jones can play any position.
