Average Rank: 3.0 out of 5 (2 votes) -- Rank This Mock Draft
1 - KC: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
This team has talent. They wouldn't have five Pro Bowlers if they didn't. But, their quarterback play last year was garbage. KC's current situation is very similar to Philly's in '99, and it could very well end with a similar selection.

2 - JAX: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Did you know that 9 of the Jaguars last 13 picks in the first three rounds were spent on linemen? The only non-linemen: Blaine Gabbert, Justin Blackmon, Derek Cox, and Bryan Anger. But they haven't gone here in the first round since 2010, so they'll make another swing at it with Moore.

3 - OAK: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
Both Richard Seymour and Tommy Kelly are in their 30's, and Kelly isnt playing that well anymore. Oakland is known for taking the biggest, strongest, most athletic star in the draft, and they'll do that again this year. (Lame pun definitely intended)

4 - PHI: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
The best player in the draft falls to #4, and the Eagles couldn't be happier. Jason Peters is coming back, Joeckel can play at right tackle, and Todd Herremans can move back to guard. And best of all, we'll never have to see King Dunlap again. Hopefully. And they'll need a good O-line if they want to run a Chip Kelly offense.

5 - DET: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
No one on this Lions defense had more interceptions than Chris Houston and Don Carey. How many picks did they have? Two. Yeah. Can we get some ballhawks in here?

6 - CLE: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
Cleveland's sack leader last year was Jabaal Sheard with 7 sacks. Yes, Cleveland needs a quarterback, but at least Weeden had flashes of greatness, Cleveland's D sucked at all times.

7 - ARI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
Arizona wants a quarterback so badly. But any quarterback that lines up behind that offensive line will get destroyed. Look at this season, Kevin Kolb was doing pretty well, until the offensive line gave out on him, and they limped to the finish line at 1-11. Fisher is a good building block, but they'll need some more draft picks and some free agency moves before they get above a level higher than horrible.

8 - BUF: Mike Glennon, QB, North Carolina State
Ryan Fitzpatrick is a broken man. I saw him throw an interception, and he started sulking back to the bench while the other team was still running the ball back. Buffalo has stated that they want a quarterback in the draft, and they've had their eye on Glennon.

9 - NYJ: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Secretly, the Jets are overjoyed that the Bills took Glennon, because there are no other quarterbacks that can go in the first round without being a reach. And with the second best player in the draft still available to fill a need, the Jets would be happy to take Jones.

10 - TEN: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
Remember earlier in the season, when Chris Johnson called out his offensive line. This'll help. When Chris Johnson had his CJ2K season, he had a great offensive line. Warmack is a great place to start to get Johnson back on track.

11 - SD: D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama
San Diego did not want to be in this situation. With the two best tackles and the best guard off the board, pickings are getting slim for the Chargers. Fluker is good, and climbing the draft board, but he's not going to be the player the Chargers hoped for.

12 - MIA: Keenan Allen, WR, California
Miami got one good week out of their wide receivers, and that was when Brian Hartline went insane against Arizona. Ryan Tannehill needs a good receiver, and Allen is a really good receiver.

13 - TB: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
Tampa's secondary was bad and only got worse when Aqib Talib was traded away. Ronde Barber can't give the middle finger to Father Time forever. Their secondary is in shambles, and Banks would be a good fit.

14 - CAR: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Last year, the Panthers had a chance to take Dontari Poe. But they passed on him, in favor of Luke Kuechly, which worked out pretty well for the Panthers, but at some point, they have to address their need at DT. After Lotulelei, Richardson is the best D-tackle to go for.

15 - NO: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
I love it when college players go to local pro teams, and Kiki Mingo is a good fit in New Orleans. The consensus pick seems to be Dion Jordan to the Saints, but honestly, is there any position that can't use a pick-me-up in that Saints defense.

16 - STL: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
There's a good chance that Titus Young might be the best receiver on the Rams roster, since both Danny Amendola and Brandon Gibson are headed to free agency. Patterson is practically a requirement for this team.

17 - PIT: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
The more I look at Pittsburgh, the less I like this team. No running game, atrocious O-line, best receiver about to leave, very old defense. They need a great pass rusher that isn't cashing in Social Security checks, and one falls to them at #17 in Jordan.

18 - DAL: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
Another college player goes to his hometown team. Dallas has playmakers at corner, but their safety play still leaves something to be desired. The Boys will happily take the best safety in the country.

19 - NYG: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
When in doubt, assume the Giants will take a defensive lineman. High character, high production, rising up the board. Sounds a lot like how the G-Men took Jason Pierre-Paul in 2010.

20 - CHI: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
Fake dead girlfriend. Those three words obliterated Te'o's draft stock. At one point, Kiper had Te'o going #1 overall. But the Bears are known for having great inside linebackers. Urlacher is getting old, so Te'o could be groomed to be his successor.

21 - CIN: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
The Bengals may try to trade up for Te'o, but if he gets by them, the Bengals might go for the best player available to replace Michael Johnson, who could leave in free agency, or to just improve their pass rush in general.

22 - STL: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
The Rams are in such a good spot right now, tons of picks thanks to the RG3 trade, and already getting better. Jeff Fisher is a miracle worker. With the Rams second pick, they should work on clearing holes for Steven Jackson with Cooper.

23 - MIN: Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor
When Percy Harvin got injured last year, it showed just how weak the Vikings were at receiver. I'd be willing to bet that if they had one more receiver of any significance, Peterson would've broke the record. And if Christian Ponder is going to improve as a quarterback, he needs some people to target that can catch the ball consistently.

24 - IND: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
The Colts were a sieve up the middle last year, so expect Chuck Pagano, a defensive coach by trade, to invest in his defense after going mostly offense in last year's draft.

25 - SEA: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
It's kind of amazing that Russell Wilson tied the rookie passing touchdown record, because besides Sidney Rice, he had absolutely no one else to throw it to. Can we get this man a #2 receiver?

26 - GB: Giovani Bernard, RB, North Carolina
Not having a 1,000-yard running back isn't great, but these days, it's not the worst thing that could happen. Not having a 500-yard running back is bad in any period. Get a running back, please.

27 - HOU: Robert Woods, WR, USC
Andre Johnson has been the horsework wide receiver in Houston for almost his entire career. And now that Andre is getting older, it's time to get him some help. Kevin Walter is not filling that role especially well, and I'm not expecting Lestar Jean, Keshawn Martin, or DeVier Posey to do it either.

28 - DEN: Kawann Short, DT, Purdue
Short destroyed the Senior Bowl, and has been shooting up the board. Kevin Vickerson and Justin Bannan haven't been setting the world on fire, so Short can fit into Denver's 4-3 defense quite well.

29 - NE: Matt Elam, SS, Florida
The Aqib Talib trade helped the Patriots, but it merely upgraded their defense from horrid to not great. More is needed to make this a viable defense. Elam can start right away and move Devin McCourty back to his natural position of cornerback.

30 - ATL: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
Normally, tight ends don't go high. But, if they did, Eifert would go high, because he has elite potential. And in this scenario, Eifert could learn from the greatest tight end who's ever lived, before taking over the following year.

31 - SF: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
For all the talk of the 49ers defense, they got torched in the playoffs, particularly in the Conference Championship against Atlanta. They need a good third corner if they don't want to get torn apart by slot receivers, and Rhodes fits the bill.

32 - BAL: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
It's very difficult to replace the great Ray Lewis, but drafting a talented linebacker like Ogletree, who led a very good SEC defense, is a good place to start.
