Average Rank: 2.0 out of 5 (2 votes) -- Rank This Mock Draft
1 - KC: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
With Kansas City starting over they're going to need to find themselves a franchise QB. Although this isn't a strong draft class as far as QB go, but I think KC will roll the dice with Smith.

2 - JAX: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Jacksonville's pass rush was awful last season. With single players in the league totaling more sacks than the whole team its easy to see they need an upgrade at the DE position. Damontre Moore would be an instant impact starter for Jacksonville and pull some of the attention off Jermey Mincey.

3 - OAK: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
Oakland has numerous needs on defense but its hard to pass up on a player like Lotulelei. He has the potential to be a pro bowler in his first year so I think Oakland pulls the trigger on Lotulelei

4 - PHI: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
With Chip Kelly being the new head coach a lot of people think that he will be looking to draft a franchise QB to input into his spread offense. But I think their main focus is going to be to keep whoever the signal caller is upright. So why not address one of the most important positions on offense with Joeckel.

5 - DET: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
Detroits pass rush definitely needs an upgrade, and with Cliff Avril set to hit free agency they're going to be looking for his replacement. Werner is a 3 down player who is excellent against the run and has a quick first step to get past aposing lineman and get to the QB.

6 - CLE: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
If it wasn't for Jones' health concerns he would be a top 3 pick without a doubt. But he won't slip past Cleveland at the 6 spot. This kid is a game changer, has great pass rush skills to get after the QB but also great cover skills. He will be an instant upgrade to the Browns defense.

7 - ARI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
A lot of people think that Arizona will select a QB at this spot, but I think they will address that need in free agency. I think they go offensive line here. Fisher is big, strong and has great feet.

8 - BUF: Matt Barkley, QB, USC
After the big contract Fitzpatrick signed he came out and showed how he's not the answer for Buffalo's QB problem. Some think the Nassib will be the choice here because of the relationship with the new head coach, but I think they go with Barkley at the 8 spot.

9 - NYJ: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
The Jets have some glaring issues on offense with QB being the main focus to most. But I think the ride the Sanchez and Tebow roller coaster for one more year. Here they go with Warmack hoping they can improve an already descent run game and give whoever is standing in the pocket a little more time.

10 - TEN: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
Tennessee ranks 26th in the NFL in pass defense and 21st in sacks with 27. Kamerion Wimbley has five sacks, but he will be 30 next season and the Titans need a younger, better version of Wimbley to start on the right side opposite Derrick Morgan. Although Mingo is a raw talent he has a quick first step, speed and range to chase down the QB.

11 - SD: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
With Quentin Jammer getting up there in age the Chargers need to start looking for his replacement. Milliner isn't a superior cover corner but he's solid enough to hold up in man coverage and is great in zone coverage. He is also excellent in run support and a solid open field tackler.

12 - MIA: Keenan Allen, WR, California
Miami took the biggest risk of the draft last year by drafting Tannehill. So far he's looking like a descent NFL starter but he needs more weapons to throw to. Allen is a very physical receiver who can seperate himself against the bump and run and is a great jump ball target.

13 - TB: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Tampa is still developing on offense but showed some very good drives late in the season. Doug Martin proved he can be an every down back for them but still needs to work on improving his overall game. They however still need help on defense so I think that they take Richardson here to help McCoy lock down the interior of the D-line.

14 - CAR: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
Kuechley was a great choice last year for Carolina. But they still looked pretty weak on defense. Some people last year thought that Carolina was going to pick Poe to hold down the D-line, but obviously they didn't. So this year I think that they go with Hankins, who I think is better than Poe.

15 - NO: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
New Orleans this year had what many would call a very disappointing year. There defense struggled against the run game and couldn't get to the QB like they've been know to do. Dion Jordan is a little light for his frame but his athleticism will help New Orleans get back on the right track.

16 - STL: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
The Rams have successfully built their defense through the draft and free agency the past 2 years. Bringing in Vaccaro would fill one of the last holes in their defense. Vaccaro is great against the run and is very good in coverage.

17 - PIT: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
Pittsburg's defense is only getting older. They need someone who can come in and contribute immediate and keep the defense as dominant as its been for years and I think Ogletree is that guy.

18 - DAL: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
I think Dallas' defense disappointed many which led to the firing of Rob Ryan. Demarcus Ware continues to age so it would be smart of Dallas to find his replacement now. Ansah has a great motor and athleticism to eventually replace Ware.

19 - NYG: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
The Giants pass rush was almost nonexistent at the end of the the season and could stop the run either. Jenkins can come in and help assist in the run and allow Pierre-Paul and Justin Tuck to continue to get to the QB

20 - CHI: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
The Bear's offensive line was by far the worst in the NFL. They need to find someone who can help upgrade their offensive line and keep Jay Cutler upright.

21 - CIN: Alex Okafor, DE, Texas
Cincinnati's defense stops after the interior D-line. The could use and upgrade at line backer and at DE. Without a solid prospect to replace Maualuga, who in my opinion is the worst inside linebacker in the game right now, I think they address their DE problem.

22 - STL: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
Another weapon would be a great help for Bradford, but is St. Louis can't keep him upright drafting a WR won't do them any good, so they go after an interior lineman here.

23 - MIN: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
Minnesota desperately needs talent on the opposite side of Sidney Rice. Patterson is arguably the best WR in the draft and would give Christian Ponder another weapon to throw to.

24 - IND: D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama
The Colts had an outstanding draft last year but they struggled the prevent Andrew Luck from getting hit. Fluker was apart of the "NFL" caliber line from Alabama and I think will be an instant upgrade to the Colts offensive line.

25 - SEA: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
Alan Branch and Brandon Mebane are in their 30's and may be still effective but are on the decline as far as production. Sharrif was a solid contributor to the defense at Florida and would be a great replacement to either one of these guys.

30 - ATL: Zach Ertz, TE, Stanford
