Average Rank: 2.9 out of 5 (25 votes) -- Rank This Mock Draft

1 - KC: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
The Chiefs taking Joeckel is a no brainer after relasing RT Winston and are shopping incumbent LT Branden Albert
2 - JAX: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
Gus Bradley will be running the same defense he ran in Seattle and must find a player to fit into the Leo DE spot. They choose Jordan because he's a physical freak with plenty of upside who killed at the combine to shoot up the draft charts.
3 - OAK: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
Oakland is rumored to be down to choosing Lane Johnson and Shariff Floyd. DT seems like a bigger need with the losses of Tommy Kelly, Richard Seymour and Desmond Bryant. Floyd is a penatrating d tackle that will be a disruptive force on defense.
4 - PHI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
Philly will be choosing between Star Lotulelei and Eric Fisher. Fisher gets the nod cause he's the 2nd highest rated prospect and gives them insurance for Jason Peters as well as a replacement at one of the most important positions.
5 - DET: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
The Lions need a tackle to replace departing tackles Cherilus(FA) and Backus(retiring) and possiby get the best tackle in the draft. Some pundits think Johnson could become the best tackle to come out of this draft because of his high ceiling so the Lions get value and Reiff can stay at his natural RT position.
6 - CLE: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
Cleveland seems to be hoping that Millner lasts past Detroit or they'll be looking to trade down. Luckily for them I have Millner falling to them and gives them a stud CB to play opposite of Joe Haden.
7 - ARI: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
the cards need a QB for the future desperately and are glad that a once projected #1 overall pick falls to them. The value of the top rated QB is too good to pass up and Smith can sit behind Palmer for a year or two and give the team a chance to build an offensive line.
8 - BUF: Ryan Nassib, QB, Syracuse
This is a high projection for Nassib but if he's the Bills guy they need to take him like the Fins took Tannehill.
9 - NYJ: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
The Jets need some pass rushing OLBs and are really high on Mingo. Mingo is a physical specimen but I hope this doesn't end like Vernon Gholston.
10 - TEN: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
The Titans defense ranked near the bottom in almost every significant category. Lotulelei would add a big presence in the middle that will hopefully open things up for DEs Winbley and Morgan.
11 - SD: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
no one is affected more by the descion of the the underclass tackles to stay in school than the chargers who miss out on the top 3 OTs so they take one of the Gs in the draft. Cooper projects to go before Warmack cause of his versatility to play center also.
12 - MIA: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
The Fins need a CB but I see none having enough value to take here so they take a bookend DE for Wake. With Wake demanding double teams it should free up Ansah to create havoc on the other side. Ansah has high upside drawing comparisons to JPP.
13 - NYJ: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
The Jets need a playmaker on offense and Coach Rex Ryan has already showed Austin a plan on how they plan on using him. Sanchez should have no excuses with Austin, Holmes and Hill. The Jets also need to add a pass catching TE as well to round out the group.
14 - SF: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
**TRADE** The Niners are rumored to want to trade up and them and the Panthers have a history of trading with each other. The Niners have a need at FS and Vaccaro is the hands down best one in this draft. Many pundits say Vaccaro is the only safety with a 1st round grade.
15 - NO: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
With the change from a 43 to a 34 defense the saints will need some OLBs and in comes Jones who has fallen in the draft due to medical concerns and apoor pro day.
16 - STL: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
With their 1st pick in the draft the Rams take the road grading Warmack who could be one of the best players in the draft period and only fell this far because of the position he plays. Remeber Iupati was one of the best G prospects to come out and he lasted to pick 16.
17 - PIT: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
The Steelers need a replacement for Mike Wallace and Patterson had a great combine that shot him up draft boards and some think he could become the best WR to come out of this draft.
18 - DAL: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
The Cowboys need a 3 technique DT and Richardson has plenty of upside and has value at this position in the draft.
19 - NYG: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
The Giants have many needs from secondary help, to depth on the O and D line but Eifert's value is too much to pass over and should help the loss of Bennett to the Bears. Eifert will give Manning another body to throw to and this offense can't afford to be missing too many downfield options. With the group of Nicks, Cruz, Randle and Eifert the Giants will be able to allow Eli to keep chucking the ball downfield.
20 - CHI: D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama
The Bears need oline help badly and take Fluker who hopefully can keep Jay Cutler from getting roughed up as much. One of Fluker's biggest asset is his versatility to play 2 different positions on the O-line that will be invaluable to a Bears team thats done alot of shuffling along its O-line.
21 - CIN: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
The Bengals are always on the prowl for reclamation projects and they get another one in Ogletree. Marvin Lewis is probably hoping he's found his Ray Lewis for this Bengals team in Ogletree.
22 - STL: DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Clemson
St. Louis has a need for wideouts and are enamored with Hopkins as they have had 2 visits with him like they had with Brain Quick last year.
23 - MIN: Keenan Allen, WR, California
the Vikings need a replacement for Harvin and get Allen who has drawn comparisons to Crabtree and should help out noodle armed QB Ponder with his YAC skills.
24 - IND: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
The colts need an OLB to pair with Robert Mathis and Werner played the position in college. He should add a high motor bring your lunch pail kind of prescence like Jarret Johnson did for the Ravens.
25 - MIN: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
The Vikes love Notre Dame products and are in need of a MLB so they take Te'o and hope he leaves his fake girlfriend at Notre Dame.
26 - GB: Datone Jones, DE, UCLA
The Packers need some big bodies on the front 7 to help stop the run and spell Raji who played the most snaps at DT the last few years. Jones has the body to play DE in a 34 D is a disuptive pass rusher and has a high motor.
27 - HOU: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
The Texans need a WR to take away double coverages away from Johnson and Hunter also could be his eventual replacement. Overshined by Patterson at Tennesee and at the combine but Hunter also helped himself at the combine. He's a big receiver with good speed and an amazing catch radius and will fit perfectly into the Texans offense. Hunter also may become the better pro than his teammate.
28 - DEN: D.J. Hayden, CB, Houston
Denver needs help in the secondary and an eventual replacement for Champ. Luckily the 2nd best CB prospect to some pundits falls to them. Some teams were concerned with his injury but Hayden is coming along fine and the closer we get to the draft he is one of the hotter prospects out there.
29 - PHI: EJ Manuel, QB, Florida State
**TRADE** The Pats are always looking to trade down and the Eagles need to trade up to get Manuel because the Jags and Browns are said to be interested in the Seminole QB. Manuel still needs some seasoning but would be a great fit for Kelly's scheme with his Read Option ability.
30 - ATL: Cornellius Carradine, DE, Florida State
The Falcons need a pass rusher opposite Osi and Tank Carradine is on their wish list. He's coming along fine from his injury as he showed at his Pro Day
31 - CAR: Sylvester Williams, DT, North Carolina
The Panthers trade down and still end up with a decent DT prospect. Williams has a high motor and is a penatrating prescence at the one or zero technique.
32 - BAL: Menelik Watson, OT, Florida State
Baltimore looks to be in the market for a future LT to protect Joe Flaccos blind side and McKinnie is a short term solution and could be resigned to give Watson time to develop in a NFL weight room and offseason program.

Above Average -- Looks good but Houston is going to need help up front on defense-Moët the poet

Above Average -- Overall pretty good. I think Te'o is too high and I don't see the Bucs trading up for a corner.

Above Average -- I like it-motor city chop shop

Below Average -- It was good, then i seen had The Bengals taking a G at 21... no way our o line is a top 10 core we would not waste a pick on another guard smh

Average -- My believe is that you have too many QBs and DTs in the 1st round, but I've been wrong before.

Excellent -- don't see any holes in this draft hope it holds up

Above Average -- matt barkley is going a little too hight...other than that i agree

Above Average -- Overall a really solid draft, but I still can't see Jones falling past the Jets.

Average -- Mingo to the Jets makes sense. Another terrible JETS pick. If Warmack goes to CLE, Richardson is my 1st rd pick in FF lol
Monday, March 11, 2013 4:40 PM
Above Average -- I like jenkins to the Packers unless a higher rated DE is worth the pick. DE is their #1 need but also a HUGE NT is needed. If Jenkins is there I like it.
Monday, March 25, 2013 3:31 PM
Average -- The Bears wont take Fluker. They will take Ogletree or WR at 20 if not traded away.
Monday, March 25, 2013 4:55 PM
Average -- Atlanta already picked up a running back. Don't need to waste their pick here.
Monday, April 22, 2013 5:07 PM
Average -- There's no way Geno goes #3 to jets in make or break year for Rex. Titans would take Cooper over Warmack. Vaccaro and Werner are too high. Jenkins isn't a first round pick. Buffalo will take Nassib, not Barkley. But I do like Manuel to the Eagles.
Wednesday, April 24, 2013 11:06 PM
Average -- I don't think Werner translates well as a 3-4 olb and can't see Nassib going 8th. I like the 49 trade however.
