tills25's Mock Draft (Round 1)

1 - KC: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
Andy Reid gets a fresh start in Kansas City with a franchise OT. The Chiefs also need a franchise QB, I don't believe any of the QB's in this years crop is worthy of a top 5 selection.

2 - JAX: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
This pick could depend on who comes in as the new head coach, but for a team that was last in the league in sacks they could turn to Jones to help bolster their pass rush.

3 - OAK: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
Richard Seymour is old and Tommy Kelly is over paid and terrible. Star is worthy of the #1 pick and would be a value pick for a bad Oakland team.

4 - PHI: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Philadelphia was a disappointment in 2012 which led to Andy Reid getting fired. There are several needs for the Eagles but I went with a superb pass rusher in Moore.

5 - DET: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
This may be a bit of a stretch, but Dee played really well against Notre Dame in the national championship game. Pair his bowl game performance with a good combine and we could see Milliner go in the top ten.

6 - CLE: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
A lot of mock's have Smith going #1 in the draft, but I can't see him going that early. Cleveland could take a QB in the first for the second year in a row.

7 - ARI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
Most people would think QB in this slot based off of the horrible performance of AZ's current group of QB's, but they have invested some time and money into Kolb and they will decide to try and protect him rather then replace him.

8 - BUF: Mike Glennon, QB, North Carolina State
With a new coach comes a new QB. Glennon probably has the best set of tools out of all the top QB's in the draft.

9 - NYJ: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
Jets are a mess and need to draft best player available. Jordan would be a good fit for this D.

10 - TEN: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
Tennessee needs some impact players on their defense and Mingo would bring some playmaking ability to the defensive side of the ball.

11 - SD: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
Hankins is a huge man who will plug up the middle for SD for years to come.

12 - MIA: Keenan Allen, WR, California
Miami is thin at playmakers on the offense and will upgrade the WR corps with the top WR in this years class.

13 - TB: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
After sending Talib to the Patriots, the Bucs need to address the cornerback position and Banks can definitely fill that need.

14 - CAR: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Carolina got gashed against the run this year and Richardson is the next best DT left on the board.

15 - NO: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
The Saints took a huge step back on defense in 2012. The got better towards the end of the year, but Werner's motor would be hard to pass on here.

16 - STL: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
The Rams need some more protection for their franchise QB and Warmack is a beast on the inside.

17 - PIT: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
Pittsburgh is getting old at LB and Te'o is a steal at pick #17.

18 - DAL: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
Dallas needs big time help at DE and Montgomery can bring the Heat.

19 - NYG: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
The Giants could use some more speed in the front 7 and Alec will be all over the field in the Giants d.

20 - CHI: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
The bears will have to replace Urlacher, but with Ogletree off the board they will chose an o-lineman to protect Cutler.

21 - CIN: Alex Okafor, DE, Texas
Okafor will help solidify the outside pass rush for the Bengals. Paired with Geno Atkins this pass rush would be much improved.

22 - STL: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
Craig Dahl is a solid backup so I have Vaccaro to help bolster this already improved defense.

23 - MIN: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
The production of Minnesota's LB's has gone down in recent years mainly due to the departure of Pat Williams. The Vikes run defense returns to dominance with the addition of Jenkins.

24 - IND: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
Indianapolis had a lot of problems with the offensive line in 2012. Cooper will be a big upgrade to the interior of the offensive line.

25 - BAL: Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor
Boldin is not as good as he used to be and needs to be replaced. Terrance Williams will compliment Torrey Smith quite well.

26 - SEA: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
Seattle needs more weapons for their young QB and Patterson could turn into a Randy Moss kind of target.

27 - GB: Eddie Lacy, RB, Alabama
The Packers finally draft a franchise running back in the first round. Lacy would be huge for the Packers offense and would take some pass rush pressure off of Aaron Rogers.

28 - HOU: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
Andre Johnson is getting older and the Texans offense needs some better options for Schaub.

29 - SF: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
San Fran has the best roster all around so this pick is a crap shoot.

30 - NE: Quinton Patton, WR, Louisiana Tech
The Pats will lose one or both of Welker and Edelman and Patton would be a beast in the New England offense.

31 - ATL: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
With the retirement of Tony Gonzales the Falcons will look to replace his production.

32 - DEN: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
Ansah will be a good compliment to Denver's pass rush.
