Steelcurtain13's Mock Draft (Round 1)

1 - KC: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
The chiefs have a new coach, they need to start over fresh and get a new young QB to help rebuild the franchise.

2 - JAX: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
If they keep Babin, Werner and Babin will be a lethal pass rushing duo, but if they let Babin go, Werner should be able to give the Jags the pass rush they desperately want regardless.

3 - OAK: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
The right pick for the Raiders, Star is just what they need in Oakland. Finally the Raiders make the smart move.

4 - PHI: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
The Eagles line was atrocious without Peters, Joeckel will add some youth and strength to an offensive line that cost Michael Vick his job.

5 - DET: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
With Avril and Vanden Bosch heading to free agency, the Lions probably cant keep them both, and Moore will help keep their defensive line very strong whoever he replaces.

6 - CLE: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
A great pick for the Browns! Jones coming from the outside and Jackson in the middle helps Cleveland develop a young defense into one that can contend with the Steelers and the rest of the AFC North.

7 - ARI: Matt Barkley, QB, USC
Arizona needs a QB, they will have a new coach, and they need someone who can get the ball to Larry. Barkley was the projected no.1 pick a while back, maybe he can bring some of his former magic to the cards.

8 - BUF: Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas
Fitzpatrick cannot get it done, it is now obvious. He gets paid too much for mediocrity. The Bills will take Wilson and Marrone will move on from there.

9 - NYJ: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
The Jets have way too many problems! Mingo is a phenomenal athlete who can give them a pass rush finally. Unfortunately he can't fix the offense or the coaching staff.

10 - TEN: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
The titans have an awful pass defense, and Milliner will be a welcome addition here.

11 - SD: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
Rivers was getting destroyed behind his line this season. Fisher will add some much needed youth and skill to the Chargers O-Line. Philip Rivers will be very happy with this pick.

12 - MIA: Keenan Allen, WR, California
Brian Hartline and Davone Bess... Miami needs a #1 receiver. End of story.

13 - TB: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
This may be a bit of a reach, but the Bucs pass D was just that bad! They need to add to the secondary, and Rhodes is the best available for it.

14 - CAR: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
The Carolina defensive line needs to add a big body to the middle, Hankins is just the guy to plug up the middle. The Panthers front seven will be scary with the addition of Hankins to the rest of the gang.

15 - NO: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
A lot of holes on the Saints defense to say the least. Jordan will add a talented pass rush on the outside.

16 - STL: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
Excellent pick for the Rams to keep Sam Bradford upright, and hopefully keep their run game respectable, hopefully led by Steven Jackson still.

17 - PIT: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
The Steelers need youth. Te'o is a great pick to line up next to Timmons in the middle. Great fit in Pittsburgh.

18 - DAL: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
They may be switching their defensive scheme with Ryan gone. So if they do, they will definitely need another big man to go with Ratliff in the middle of the line.

19 - NYG: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
Umenyiora is gone, enter Montgomery, the giants won't miss a beat on defense.

20 - CHI: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
The Bears need an offensive line so that Cutler can play and not yell at them. Cooper is a big strong smart player and will help both the run and passing attack in Chicago.

21 - CIN: Alex Okafor, DE, Texas
Michael Johnson will most likely be gone, and Okafor can certainly pick up the slack on defense for the Bengals.

22 - STL: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
The Rams add another talented young player to their rising dominant defense. They will have an outstanding secondary with the addition of Vaccaro, and it will compliment their amazing pass rush. The only outcome will be more sacks and more INTs in the Rams future.

23 - MIN: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
The Vikings actually had a game where a receiver didn't catch a pass until the 4th quarter... I don't think I need to say much more than that.

24 - IND: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
Need secondary help badly. The offense is starting to come together, Banks will help on the defensive side of the ball.

25 - BAL: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
Ray Lewis is retiring. Ogletree will be a tremendous pickup if he is still available here.

26 - SEA: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
The Seahawks have an awesome young roster. Austin will just be another weapon to help Russell Wilson become a superstar.

27 - GB: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
Jermichael Finley is gone, they are going to need a new tight end, and the rookie Eifert won't complain about anything.

28 - HOU: Robert Woods, WR, USC
Andre Johnson can't do everything himself in the Texans passing attack. Robert Woods will be a great #2 receiver in Houston.

29 - SF: Eric Reid, FS, LSU
Dashon Goldson could be headed to free agency, and the 49ers will want to add Reid to keep their secondary strong.

30 - NE: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
The offensive line could still use some youthful rejuvenation while Tom Brady is still on top of his game.

31 - ATL: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
Ansah is a beast! He will form a lethal defensive tandem with John Abraham on the other side.

32 - DEN: Barrett Jones, OG, Alabama
Dan Koppen is getting old, and Barrett Jones can do it all on the offensive line, whether he starts at center or guard.
