PewterPirates22's Mock Draft (Round 1)

1 - KC: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
Smith isn't a can't miss prospect, but he is supremely talented physically and if anyone can develop him, it is Andy Reid.

2 - JAX: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Outside of quarterback, the pass rush is the biggest concern. Jones is drawing comparisions to Von Miller.

3 - OAK: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
Oakland's pass rush is pathetic, and Werner is arguably the best pass rusher of a deep class.

4 - PHI: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
There is no guarantee that Jason Peters will come back the same from his achilles injury, so this great tackle prospect makes sense.

5 - DET: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
They could go defensive line here, but this class of lineman is very deep and Milliner is by far the best corner out of a weak class, so there is more value with him.

6 - CLE: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
Damontre Moore could be in play here, but Te'o's athleticism and playing behind two huge tackles like Taylor and Rubin would give them a big time defensive playmaker.

7 - ARI: Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas
Kevin Kolb can't stay healthy and they can't suffer through another season of Skelton and Lindley.

8 - BUF: Mike Glennon, QB, North Carolina State
It is time to end the Ryan Fitzpatrick experiment to end. Barkley might be considered here, but arm strength goes a long way in Buffalo come November and December.

9 - NYJ: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
The entire offense needs an over haul. The Jets were at their best when they had a dominant ground game. Warmack, who is being called the best guard prospect since Larry Allen, would go a long way in resurrecting that.

10 - TEN: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
This might be a little low for him, but team needs dictated his falling. Lotulelei is dominant against the run and can push the pocket, freeing up the ends.

11 - SD: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
If Philip Rivers is going to return to form, it must start by rebuilding his shattered offensive line. Lewan will be a great blind side protector.

12 - MIA: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
This pick could easily be a receiver, but of the rumors of Jake Long's pending release turn out to be true, they will have to replace him. Fisher is a top prospect.

13 - TB: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
This pick might surprise, but I think Tampa will look to shore up the cornerback spot in free agency. Early reports are the coaching staff here loves this guy. Big threat similar to Jimmy Graham and an effective blocker.

14 - CAR: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
Carolina must shore up their run defense. A big body like Hankins could free up Kuechley to make even more tackles.

15 - NO: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Spagnoulo's defense is dependant on a front four that can get to the qb, and they get a good one here.

16 - STL: Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
This offensive line needs to be rebuilt. Matthews formed the best tackle tandem in the country with Joeckel.

17 - PIT: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
James Harrison is finished and Lamarr Woodley has been hurt. Mingo would instantly rejuvenate their once feared pass rush.

18 - DAL: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
The Cowboys have been looking for a safety for years, and they finally get a deep center fielder with Vaccaro.

19 - NYG: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
Umenyiora is leaving and Tuck looks old. Giants need to put the bite back in their pass rush.

20 - CHI: D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama
Fluker was part of a dominant offensive line in Alabama. Will bring nastiness and attitude to a porous unit.

21 - MIN: Keenan Allen, WR, California
It is unclear if Percy Harvin will be on the team next year, but even if he is, they need someone who can make plays on the outside. Allen is the best in the class.

22 - CIN: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
It was painfully obvious after watching their playoff game that they need another receiver other than AJ Green. Austin cam take the top off a defense.

23 - STL: Dallas Thomas, OT, Tennessee
Did I mention they need offensive line help?

24 - BAL: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
There is no replacing Ray Lewis, but this guy brings swagger and intensity similiar to Lewis.

25 - IND: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
As they continue to rebuild to a 34 defense, they must get a legit nose tackle. Jenkins is more mountain than man.

26 - GB: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
Greg Jennings and Jermichael Finely are leaving and Donald Driver is done. Hunter will be another great target for Rodgers.

27 - HOU: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
When Jonathon Joseph went down this defense slipped. A big physical corner like Banks would add another legit cover guy to the secondary.

28 - ATL: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
Somebody has to replace Jon Abraham sometime.

29 - SF: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Depth is needed along the defensive front.

30 - NE: Tyrann Mathieu, CB, LSU
This is a long shot, but if anybody can gamble on him and get him to succeed it is Belichick. The guy is so talented and could finally shore up their secondary.

31 - SEA: Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor
Russell Wilson gets more help here. Seattle's current receivers are average.

32 - DEN: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
A defensive tackle that can occupy blockers in the middle would make Von Miller and Elvis Dumervil impossible to handle.
