12/10 vanderrr's Mock Draft
1 - JAX: D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama
(S.Lotulelei) With Tebow being the likely starter in Jacksonville getting players to help the ground game would be wise. Fluker's pass protections skills have been called into question, but his run-blocking skills are near the top of this class. He would be an instant upgrade at RT.
2 - KC: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
(G.Smith) Geno Smith gets a familiar target to help his transition into the NFL.
3 - PHI: Matt Elam, SS, Florida
(J.Jones) The Eagles secondary misses too many tackles, they need to add someone who can hit.
4 - DET: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
(M.Te'o) The Lions could lose both of their starting DE's so they will need to add at least 1 during the draft.
5 - CIN: Giovani Bernard, RB, North Carolina
(K.Vaccaro) BJGE is more of a complimentary back so finding a #1 back is a priority for the Bengals.
6 - ARI: Tyler Bray, QB, Tennessee
(L.Joekel) After finding a franchise LT the Cards add themselves a potential franchise QB.
7 - NYJ: Joseph Randle, RB, Oklahoma State
(T.Wilson) The Jets offense was at it's best when they were a ground and pound team. Randle has all the skills to be a 3-down back in the NFL.
8 - TEN: Barrett Jones, OG, Alabama
(D.Milliner) Jones has had a solid college career, blocking for many talented RB's at Alabama. Jones could come in and start at center or guard for Tennessee.
9 - BUF: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
(M.Barkley) Stevie Johnson is more of a #2 WR, and he is by far the best the Bills currently have to offer. Hunter has the skills and potential to be a true #1.
10 - MIA: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
(D.Jordan) Patterson is extremely explosive and has elite speed which would give the Dolphins a deep threat to stretch the field.
11 - TB: Eric Reid, FS, LSU
(J.Banks) The Bucs continue to add talent to the secondary by finding Barron's long term safety partner.
12 - CAR: Oday Aboushi, OT, Virginia
(J.Hankins) Aboushi has the skills to be a LT in the NFL which will help increase his draft stock. Carolina could follow the route Dallas took with Tyron Smith - Allowing him to play RT in his first season before switching him to the left side.
13 - SD: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
(T.Lewan) Jammer and Cason are both free agents at the end of the season so adding a CB would be wise. Rhodes would also provide an upgrade over either of them anyway.
14 - STL: David Amerson, CB, North Carolina State
(E.Fisher, J.Cooper) Amerson has been getting beaten constantly in man coverage this season which could result in a switch to safety at the next level. Amerson has incredible ball skills and has some experience at safety from high school.
15 - DAL: Tony Jefferson, FS, Oklahoma
(C.Warmack) The Cowboys addressed the CB problem last off-season, but the safeties are still a weakness. Adding Jefferson and getting both ILB's back next year would make the Dallas defense one of the best in the league.
16 - PIT: Alex Okafor, DE, Texas
(J.Jenkins) The pass rush in Pittsburgh is in real decline, so adding depth and talent is necessary.
17 - NYG: Dallas Thomas, OT, Tennessee
(S.Richardson) The Giants need to add youth to their aging O-Line. Thomas is also the best player available.
18 - CHI: Zach Ertz, TE, Stanford
(A.Ogletree) Kellen Davis is probably the worst starting TE in the league, Cutler needs to be able to throw to someone other than Brandon Marshall.
19 - CIN: Shayne Skov, ILB, Stanford
(K.Vaccaro) Lawson will be a FA at the end of the season and Maualuga hasn't been all that great, thus meaning the Bengals could use linebacker help.
20 - MIN: Kawann Short, DT, Purdue
(K.Allen) Short is the best player available and fills a huge need for the Vikings.
21 - SEA: Khaseem Greene, OLB, Rutgers
(J.Matthews) KJ Wright and Bobby Wagner have been excellent this season but the Seahawks could upgrade at SLB.
22 - MIA: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
(D.Jordan) Jake Long is a FA at the end of the season and his injury problems as well as his declining play will probably result in the Dolphins letting him go. Lane Johnson would come in as the starting RT whilst last years's 2nd round pick J.Martin moves across to LT.
23 - WAS: Jordan Poyer, CB, Oregon State
The Redskins rank 30th against the pass so an upgrade in the secondary would be welcome.
24 - BAL: T.J. McDonald, FS, USC
(K.Minter) After finding the long term replacement for Lewis in the 1st round, the Ravens add the long term replacement for Ed Reed.
25 - GB: Stepfan Taylor, RB, Stanford
(D.Hopkins) The Packers need to find a RB to add balance to the offense. Taylor's ability to catch the ball out of the backfield would make him a good fit for the Packers offense.
26 - HOU: Brennan Williams, OT, North Carolina
(T.Williams) The Texans lost Eric Winston last year and didn't really find a replacement. Williams' season ended early through injury but the Texans have a deep roster that enables them to take a chance on his talent
27 - SF: Logan Ryan, CB, Rutgers
(M.Hunt) Carlos Rodgers is aging and his play began to decline towards the end of the season. Logan Ryan would provide depth to the 49ers secondary, and would be the long term replacement for Rogers.
28 - NE: Stedman Bailey, WR, West Virginia
(S.Montgomery) Wes Welker is a FA and unlikely to be resigned, so the Patriots add another slot reciever to replace him.
29 - ATL: Eddie Lacy, RB, Alabama
(T.Eifert) Michael Turner is aging and his play is really starting to decline. Lacy is a power back who would be a good fit alongside Jacquizz Rodgers.
30 - DEN: Larry Warford, OG, Kentucky
(J.Williams) The Broncos don't have many holes, the biggest one left on the roster may be at RG where Manny Ramirez can be improved upon.
31 - CLE: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
The Browns don't own a second round pick
32 - NO: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
The Saints don't own a second round pick
