12/10 vanderrr's Mock Draft
1 - KC: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
Kansas City has to take the drafts top rated QB
2 - JAX: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
The Jags will have Tebow at QB next year so they can take the best player available
3 - OAK: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
The Raiders need to rebuild the defense and start by improving the pass rush.
4 - PHI: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
The Eagles have struggled to apply pressure on opposing QB's this year so they try the Von Miller experiment with Jarvis Jones
5 - DET: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
Detroit take the best player available which happens to fill a huge hole in the Lions defense
6 - TEN: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
Werner is the best defensive player available and would be a huge boost to the Titans pass rush
7 - ARI: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
The Cards have to upgrade the O-Line, Joekel would provide the team with a franchise LT
8 - BUF: Matt Barkley, QB, USC
Nix has made it clear he wants a franchise QB, Barkley is the top QB available.
9 - CLE: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
Cleveland have a pretty solid defense but could use an upgrade in the pass rush. Jordan has the size, athleticism and potential to entise a team to take him in the top 10
10 - SD: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
River's doesn't trust his protection, not that anyone can blame him. An upgrade at LT is very much required
11 - NYJ: Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas
None of the QB's on the Jets roster are going to be the starter next year so they need to find a new one.
12 - TB: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
The Bucs are the last ranked pass defense in the league, an upgrade in the secondary is required. Milliner is the best DB in the draft so the Bucs will be happy to see him fall here
13 - CAR: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
The biggest hole on the Panther's roster is at DT - the best player on the board is Hankins, this pick is a no-brainer
14 - MIA: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
Mingo has superstar potential which could easily be reached with teams focusing their pass protection on Cameron Wake
15 - PIT: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
Casey Hampton is 35 and may not be back in Pittsburgh next year, Jenkins would come in as an immediate replacement for him.
16 - NO: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
New Orleans has to address the defensive side of the ball in this draft. Richardson would be a great start for the Saints and would fit the defense nicely
17 - STL: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
St Louis could use an upgrade at LT and Fisher probably wouldn't be available for their next pick so they select him here.
18 - DAL: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
Warmack is the best player available and fills Dallas' biggest need.
19 - NYG: Sylvester Williams, DT, North Carolina
The Giants need to address their defensive line. Williams is a little raw but has huge upside.
20 - CHI: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
I expect Chicago to address the LT problem in free agency, also there would not be a LT worth taking with this pick. Urlacher doesn't have long left and Ogletree would be the perfect replacement.
21 - CIN: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
Vaccaro is emerging as the top safety in this class and he fills the Bengals biggest need.
22 - MIN: Keenan Allen, WR, California
The Vikings need to find some more weapons for Ponder to throw to and they fin themselves in a position to take any receiver they like.
23 - SEA: Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
Seattle don't have too many holes on their roster. Giacomini is not a bad RT but he gives up too many silly penalties. Matthews would be an upgrade in talent and discipline.
24 - IND: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
Dwight Freeney may not be back with the Colts so they find themselves a replacement who would be a better fit in their 3-4 defense.
25 - STL: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
The Rams complete the improvements on the offensive line with the massive guard from UNC. Warmack is correctly seen as the top guard in the draft but Cooper is not that far behind.
26 - BAL: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
Ray Lewis is aging and injury prone so finding a new ILB is needed for the Ravens defense. With Mosley going back to Alabama the demand for Minter will only increase
27 - NE: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
The Patriots don't have a lot of depth at DE, and Montgomery is the best player available
28 - SF: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
The Niner's CB's struggled against the Seahawks so an upgrade and added depth could be useful
29 - GB: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
Greg Jennings probably won't be back in Green Bay next year so the Packers find their replacement in Hunter
30 - DEN: Jesse Williams, DT, Alabama
Williams is a huge, run-stuffing DT which fills the biggest hole in Denver
31 - HOU: Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor
Williams has a good combination of size and speed and would start immediately opposite Andre Johnson
32 - ATL: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
It's unlikely Gonzalez will be back next season so a replacement will be needed
