11/28 motor city chop shop's Mock Draft
1 - KC: Matt Barkley, QB, USC
Round 2: BARRETT JONES LG/OG ALABAMA -- The best QB in the draft hands down, A good combine and Geno Smith isn't a bad option but Barkley can make all the throws despite a knock on his size and accomplishments he's still a winner. If your having doubts about Barkley just think back before the season started he was the Heisman front runner, that said QBs always get dissected before draft day Andrew Luck was picked completely apart before the draft, relax Chiefs fans its a good pick
2 - JAX: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
Round 2: MONTEE BALL RB WISCONSIN-- They will acquire TIM TEBOW somehow so the possibility of QB seems wasteful. Lotulelei will leave his mark in the nfl and both players bring an identity to a team that I remeber used to be pretty good.
3 - OAK: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Round 2: NONE (traded pick to BENGALS) -- Injury won't stop him from being the pick here, if he's capable of putting up a solid combine/pro day there's no reason he shouldn't go in the top 5, Jones will be a breath of fresh air this offseason since Rolando McClain is most certainly a goner. I also like Te'o and any QB here
4 - PHI: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
Round 2: JONATHAN COOPER OG NORTH CAROLINA -- Nick Foles is their starter next year so they pass on QB but landing a tackle is paramount to the success of Foles
5 - DET: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
Round 2: DAVID AMERSON CB NC STATE-- the biggest need is defensive back but the leadership and maturity TE'O brings is much needed, Dee Milliner would be a good pick too I'm just not sure he's worth top 5 consideration, I think the lions will stockpile CBs and maybe even sign a veteran free agent, Te'o would shore up the middle and bring a presence much needed on a defense so close to being good
6 - TEN: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
Round 2: ERIC REID FS LSU -- After Green Bay lit them up, including 4 TDS for Aaron Rodgers how can they pass up on their biggest need, Milliner is a day 1 starter and hands down the best cover corner available
7 - CAR: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
Round 2: JOHNNY ADAMS CB MICHIGAN STATE -- Werner is a rare talent with a high ceiling, the panthers can't stop the run or get to the QB, they start here
8 - ARI: Mike Glennon, QB, North Carolina State
Round 2: DeVONTE HOLLOMAN OLB SOUTH CAROLINA -- Glennon is already shooting up draft boards, Lindley and Skelton had their chance, with a solid combine and pro day showing Glennon will be this years Blaine Gabbert. Only better.
9 - SD: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Round 2: LANDRY JONES QB OKLAHOMA -- Moore is a beast, turn the film on he is a dominating player and he hasn't even reached his potential yet. If they feel Jones is worth a first round nod I say do it, it's time for Rivers to go.
10 - BUF: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
Round 2: JOHN SIMON DE OHIO STATE -- I see Smith falling if KC passes on him and no other team moves up to grab him. They need a lot of help on defense and could look to improve one of the leagues worst secondary's
11 - MIA: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
Round 2: JOSH JOHNSON CB PURDUE Round 2: (from indy) DAVID BAKHTIARI LT COLORADO -- Despite a need to add offensive line and playmakers they take Hankins, he should help the dolphins shore up an already surging defense
12 - CLE: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
Round 2: ZACH ERTZ TE STANFORD -- They need to build around Weedon now, he's 29 and the window of opportunity is a small one, Hunter is the best WR in the draft and adds a deep threat to this growing offense
13 - NO: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
Round 2: DEMONTRE HURST CB OKLAHOMA -- Chance is a rare breed of interior lineman, watch his film and you can see a top 5 talent, he moves his man away from tackles all the while protecting his QB, this guy should be a perennial pro bowler
14 - TB: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
Round 2: NICK BECTON LT VIRGINIA TECH -- This defense is loaded with talent up front and in the line backing corp -- Banks would be a solid addition to help Mark Barron keep the passing yards down, as it is they give up way too many big plays, this is a start but by no means the end
15 - NYJ: Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas
Round 2: TAVON AUSTIN WR WEST VIRGINIA -- The jets have been a mess, Mark Sanchez set a record for turnovers by a QB in two years, TEBOW won't be there and Greg Mcelroy insnt the answer, Wilson could very well be a top 5 pick come April
16 - STL: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
Round 2: SEE PICK 18 -- If they can land a receiver and tackle in round one it would point them in the right direction, Jeff fisher has a history of good drafts so hopefully he helps his franchise QB with what he needs most, protection first then weapons
17 - CIN: Giovani Bernard, RB, North Carolina
Round 2: (from Oakland) TJ McDONALD FS USC -- Round 2: SHARRIF FLOYD DT FLORIDA -- The first RB comes off the board at 17 -- The Bengals need defense but depth and speed at RB are also needs, a weak draft class makes Bernard the pick despite his talent
18 - STL: Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor
Round 2: JAKE STONEBURNER TE OHIO STATE -- Williams is a weapon Sam Bradford desperately needs to take the next step, with size speed and good hands Williams is versatile and well worth the 18th selection
19 - DAL: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
Round 2: COLLIN KLEIN QB KANSAS STATE -- Klein is a gifted guy and a leader, he makes solid accurate throws and has outsanding completion percentages the only real concern has been arm strength but from what ive seen hes worth a first round pick -- the same approach as SD I know but defensive ends like Jordan are rare and Dallas can afford to draft a QB later than sooner if Romo takes them deeper than this projection
20 - MIN: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
Round 2: STEDMAN BAILEY WR WEST VIRGINIA -- The Viks could consider a WR or TE but Jenkins is value meets need here, they could use the help stopping the run, Jenkins isn't going to wow you over with sacks but his game is well rounded enough
21 - PIT: Corey Lemonier, DE, Auburn
Round 2: SPENCER LONG OG NEBRASKA -- Lemonier will help an aging line, they need defensive backs and O-line but the auburn product will light the combine up making him a top 20 guy
22 - CHI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
Round 2: WILLIAM CAMPBELL DT MICHIGAN -- They have had trouble with pass protection all year, Gabe Carimi hasn't proven worthy of his first round selection, Fisher is raw but extremely big bodied and talented
23 - IND: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
Round 2: NONE (traded pick to MIAMI) -- The colts are getting better just last year they held the first overall pick, this year they have to grab Dwight Freeneys eventual successor, Sam Montgomery brings versatility and toughness he can play defensive end or edge rush linebacker
24 - SEA: Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
Round 2: KEVIN REDDICK MLB NORTH CAROLINA -- Seattle could very well go further but at 24 a solid LT like Matthews would make Russell Wilson even better, defensive line and linebacker are also needs
25 - NYG: Brandon Jenkins, DE, Florida State
Round 2: SHAYNE SKOV MLB STANFORD -- The giants will add depth on their defense after splurging on offense last year, Jenkins will eventually start opposite Jason Pierre-Paul, scary.
26 - GB: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
Round 2: MARCUS LATTIMORE RB SOUTH CAROLINA -- Jermichael Finley has been on decline, if they don't grab Eifert here they most certainly grab a TE later. LATTIMORE is a steal here the packers can afford to ease him along. This kid should be a workhorse RB for Years to come, the perfect compliment to a solid passing attack.
27 - BAL: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
Round 2: JORDAN POYER CB OREGON STATE -- Ogletree won't be the next Ray Lewis, but who is? His stock is rising and for good reason, i watched his tape today and before I saw the footage considered him a 3-4 rounder, if he puts up good combine numbers and pro day he's a lock to go early
28 - DEN: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
Round 2: TYLER BRAY QB TENNESSEE -- It's unlikely that Mingo falls this far but in this mock he does, line him up with Von Miller and Elvis Dumervil the only thing missing is cornerback, which they can address later since a talent like Mingo falls here, Bray played his football at Peyton Mannings Alma Mater, a year or two behind the Master could do wonders for his unpolished game, Yes they drafted Ostrander last year but Manning isn't getting younger and Bray is just better.
29 - SF: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
Round 2: XAVIER NIXON LT FLORIDA -- They have a stellar defense and could use help on the offensive line, but safety is a major hole on their team, just ask Russell Wilson
30 - NE: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
Round 2: DESMOND TRUFANT CB WASHINGTON -- The pats will do some trading, they still need a CB but Patterson has size and athleticism missing in their WR corp
31 - HOU: D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama
Round 2: MATT ELAM SS FLORIDA -- The loss of Eric Winston doesn't leave a huge hole on the line but picking 31st allows them to grab the future starting RT. They also need a solid number two receiver but they grab ELAM here and address a hole on their dominate defense. Elam falls a bit due to off-field issues but his talent is undeniable.
32 - ATL: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Round 2: ANDRE ELLINGTON RB CLEMSON-- Richardson is A tad undersized but he should fit right in and bring a well rounded pass attack, this kid gets to the QB

Poor -- Denver has Wealey Woodyard at the other OLB spot. And Brock Osweiler learning from Peyton. There is no reason for Denver to take either of them.
