4/25 chrisREEVES's Mock Draft
1 - KC: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
They should probably wait for better value to grab a QB -I like Mike Glennon better with their second round pick- but QB is unquestionably KC's biggest hole and it needs filled immediately. Geno Smith will finally provide the Chiefs a QB who can sling it around the field, and should be in KC for quite a while.
2 - JAX: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
I like this guy a whole lot. He's big, physical and athletic as they come for a guy that's 6-4 255lbs. Not to mention, his motor resembles that of what you see in a 1970's muscle car. The Jags need talent all across the board, and should start by taking the best available playmaker. Combined with an impressive performance in his bowl game against lesser talent in Northern Illinois, and a strong combine, and Werner could easily shoot up draft boards all across the NFL.
3 - OAK: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
This isn't about just the best available player. This is more about providing the Raiders with someone that can change games for them. Jarvis Jones is man among boys everywhere he goes and is just what the Raiders need to help their less than great pass rush. Jones will be a solid player for a decade, barring a repeat of his injury problems.
4 - PHI: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
The Eagles are no longer in danger of their championship window closing, for one reason: It's been closed for sometime now. They need to rebuild and re-tool. Joeckel is a huge LT prospect and is a great place to start for Philly. He's worthy of the number one overall pick and at pick number four, actually provides value as well as immense talent.
5 - CAR: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
For a team drafting in the top five again, the Panthers are not as bad as their record suggests. They have a terrific nucleus of young talent, and would benefit greatly by adding a player of Star Lotulelei's caliber. He's going to be a presence that they'll be able to plug into their defense from day one and make a huge impact stopping the run, and also providing them with an interior pass rush, something that they lack as of right now.
6 - TEN: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
A bit of a reach here, but because of how much of a freak he is, the Titans will gladly reach for the 6-7 250lb DE/OLB. He runs like a safety and is as big as a house. That type of rare combination and his upside will allow the Titans to grab him to help their weak pass rush.
7 - ARI: Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
Need. That's what this pick is about. Matthews, while not as good as his Texas A&M brethren, is still an elite tackle prospect and that is just what Arizona needs. I could see them reaching for a QB -because they really, really need one- but they also need to improve how they protect the QB and someone who could help is that of Mr. Legacy: Jake Matthews.
8 - DET: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
Again, need. The Lions need a leader on defense, and as it stands, they could do themselves good by drafting a LB. In my opinion, Manti Te'o is the best player available in the 2013 draft and Detroit simply cannot pass him up. He's that good. End of story. Next pick.
9 - SD: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
Philip Rivers can't last much longer by taking as many hits as he does. Lewan is an enormous LT prospect out of Michigan and will immediately help the Chargers regulate who hits Mr. Rivers a bit better.
10 - BUF: Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas
The Bills need a new QB. Simply put. Ryan Fitzpatrick is not the guy for them and Matt Barkley is just not the answer either. Tyler Wilson, however might be. He's unquestionably the toughest of this years QB's and has a decent arm and is also very smart. All of that spells success for Buffalo.
11 - MIA: Keenan Allen, WR, California
This will be a reach again, but Miami needs another receiver very badly. Allen isn't as good as a few of the other top WR prospects that have come out the past few years, but he's the best of this years class. He's got natural talent and that will show at the combine. The Dolphins should grab him to help Ryan Tannehil become the QB that he's primed to be.
12 - CLE: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
I know I've already used this term, and that its thrown around way too much, but this guy is a freak. To say that he's going to tear up the combine is like saying the sun is hot -its just a gross understatement. Mingo is a bit raw, and didn't produce the way he should have, but he'll improve. The Browns need a pass rusher and the LSU product can provide that.
13 - NO: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
What can I say about a guy thats 6-4 295lbs that can run a low 4.7 40? Well, I can say that he's a beast and will tear it up for New Orleans if they pull the trigger on the Mizzou D-lineman. He's going to be a solid 3-4 DE and will immediately help the Saints in every way imaginable.
14 - TB: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
Considering how bad Tampa's pass defense is, they cannot afford to go without addressing it through the draft. Alabama's Dee Milliner is the best corner in the draft and will help a ton on Tampa's defense. He'll reunite with his former college teammate, Mark Barron to form a dangerous CB-S tandem.
15 - NYJ: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
The Jets need a lot. They need a QB for certain, but they also need a pass rush of some kind. I could definitely see Moore going earlier, but for now, I have NY grabbing him here. They need him.
16 - STL: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
Sam Bradford is going to break soon. Unless the Rams front office wants him to end up like Batman after his first encounter with Bane, then they need to add some interior line strength. I use the word "strength" for a reason. Chance Warmack is un-humanly strong and is just what the Rams O-Line needs.
17 - CIN: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
Sam Montgomery is a man. He and Bjoern Werner have the best motors in this draft, without question. Montgomery, 6-5 265lbs is going to be an every down DE for whoever drafts him, and it would behoove the Bengals to draft him.
18 - STL: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
The Rams improve along with their QB. As he gets better, they get better, and one way he can improve is to get him a number one receiver. Justin Hunter, 6-4 205lbs reminds me of AJ Green. He wont be as good, but has many of the same characteristics as Green. Big, athletic, fast, great leaping ability, and while he doesn't have as good a set of hands, he can catch pretty well. He needs to improve, but with the Rams, he can do that.
19 - DAL: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
A falling prospect for the moment, Johnathan Hankins may go earlier than this, but I think he may fall a bit. As it stands, the Cowboys could be in position to grab him. If they get him, they get someone who is huge, 6-3 335lbs and quite athletic for a big man. With his strength being stopping the run, Dallas would be smart to select the Ohio State product with the 19th overall pick.
20 - MIN: Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor
If the Vikings are serious about Christian Ponder, then they've got to expand his arsenal. They picked up Matt Kalil last year at LT and that is paying off in a big way, but they need another receiver to go complement Percy Harvin and Adrian Peterson. Terrance Williams is a big, tough receiver and has huge upside. Minnesota would become a more serious contender with him on their squad.
21 - PIT: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
Casey Hampton wont last much longer and the Steelers need to find his replacement. John Jenkins from Georgia is alot like New England's Vince Wilfork and if the Steelers want to stay the leagues best defense, then Jenkins is the guy to keep them in line to stay that way.
22 - CHI: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
As good as he's been, Brian Urlacher is getting older and is becoming injury prone. The perfect replacement for him is Alec Ogletree. Much like Urlacher, Ogleree is a former safety who excels in pass coverage. In order to keep pace with their division and the rest of the NFL for that matter, they have to stay strong against the pass.
23 - SEA: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
Russell Wison has been phenomenal in his rookie season for Seattle and without a dangerous target to throw to. While nowhere near elite level, Cordarrelle Patterson will give Russell Wilson a deep threat to lob the ball to instead of Golden Tate.
24 - IND: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
Andrew Luck is just about everything he was said to be when he left Stanford last year and is becoming elite in his rookie campaign for Indy. If he is given an elite O-Line, then his greatness will transcend decades.
25 - NYG: C.J. Mosley, OLB, Alabama
The Giants covet defensive players who are athletic and versatile. While he is not considered a pass rusher, Mosley can get to the QB and also plays very well defending the run and can cover. He'll give New York another stud along their front seven and develop into an every down LB in a short amount of time.
26 - GB: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
Recently, reports have surfaced saying that Jermichael Finley will not be back with GB next season, so naturally, they will look to replace him through the draft. Tyler Eifert may be a second round talent but at 6-6 255lbs, he is a big target and Aaron Rodgers will be glad to have the Notre Dame product.
27 - BAL: Matt Elam, SS, Florida
Ed Reed is still elite. But it wont hurt to groom a talented safety like Matt Elam along with Reed so one day he may try to replace him.
28 - DEN: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
The Broncos have a very good defense, but if they lack one thing, its their secondary. Banks is a big corner who has shut down potential.
29 - SF: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
Much like Denver, the 49ers defense is elite. But they lack a strong secondary, and like Banks, Rhodes is a big, physical corner, which matches the 49ers defense perfectly.
30 - NE: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
"This years Jason Pierre-Paul" is what some scouts are calling Ziggy Ansah. At 6-6 275lbs, he looks like JPP and plays similarly as he can play DE and OLB. He's even been known to line up at DT. Also, like when Pierre-Paul was coming out of South Florida, Ansah is very raw with only a few years of football under his belt. But the Ghana native is primed to pair with Chandler Jones to form a great pass rushing tandem.
31 - ATL: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
Sharrif Floyd is a monster, and that's putting it mildly. The Falcons need a pass rush and he looks to be a great addition to Atlanta's defense.
32 - HOU: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
Andre Johnson can only do so much for Houston and needs a little relief in the passing game. The best way to take pressure off your number one receiver is to have an effective slot receiver. Tavon Austin will be a nightmare to match up with because of his speed and agility. The Texans offense is already one of the best in football, and would improve dramatically with the addition of Austin.

Excellent -- Love this one. The only one that I have a problem with is CJ Mosley because he's returning to school.
