Average Rank: 2.5 out of 5 (2 votes) -- Rank This Mock Draft

1 - KC: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
Smith is the best QB in this class. He isn't where RG3 or Luck were last year, but he has a live arm and takes good care of the ball. The Chiefs have a talented roster but need a QB to put it together.
2 - JAX: Matt Barkley, QB, USC
There will be a new regime in Jacksonville next year and they won't be drinking the Blaine Gabbert Kool Aide. Barkley doesn't have a terribly strong arm but he is a smart player that can make most NFL throws. He has the highest floor of any QB in this class.
3 - OAK: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
Oakland has been hemorrhaging rushing yards for seemingly a decade. Lotulelei is a versatile interior lineman with great athleticism for his size. He is also a high character player, which is sorely needed in Oakland.
4 - CLE: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Jones is the best player in this class and the Browns will be thrilled to have him. He will be used in similar role to Von Miller in Denver, but he might be even better.
5 - PHI: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
Even if Jason Peters can recover from tearing the same achilles twice, the Eagles need more help on the line. Joeckel is the complete blind-side protecter and can play both RT and LT.
6 - CAR: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
The Panthers have a bush-league defensive line outside of Charles Johnson. Hankins is a space eater with surprising agility who will make his teammates better.
7 - BUF: Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas
This is a major reach but Buddy Nix has stated he plans on drafting a starting QB. Nix is usually quite open about his plans so there is no reason to doubt him. Wilson had a miserable season but remember he was missing his coach and top 3 WRs. He has an NFL caliber arm and is a cerebral player with good movement in the pocket and adequate size. He is farther along in his development than Ryan Tannehill, last year's 8th overall pick, was when he was drafted.
8 - SD: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
The Chargers may have more pressing needs but Te'o is too good to pass up here. He is a man of character and the best MLB prospect since Ray Lewis. The new regime in San Diego will be happy to build their identity around this fine young man.
9 - NYJ: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Rex Ryan's system is all about getting to the QB and to do that you need pass rushers. Moore is a classic tweener prospect and fits perfectly as a pass rushing linebacker in Ryan's hybrid 3-4 front.
10 - TEN: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
I have a hard time putting a finger on the Titans and their needs. They could upgrade the defensive line or the interior offensive line. However, it is very clear that their secondary hasn't been the same without Cortland Finnegan. Milliner is arguably the best player on the board and should help the titans make up for that loss.
11 - ARI: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
It doesn't matter who Arizona's QB is as long as their offensive line remains the turnstile that it is. Lewan plays with a mean streak and is a very good pass protector. They can shift Levi Brown to RT and solidify 2 spots with 1 pick.
12 - DET: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
The Lions can't outscore their opponent every week. The secondary needs major work and it starts with Banks, who looks like a potential all-pro and fits Detroit's scheme well. This kid will be an absolute superstar.
13 - STL: Keenan Allen, WR, California
Sam Bradford needs weapons and protection. With WR needy Miami between their 2 picks, they will start off with Allen. He is a talented prospect who will instantly be the Rams' top target.
14 - MIA: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
With Allen off the board Miami will take the best player available. That player is Mingo, a raw pass rusher with seemingly unlimited upside. He will start off as a situational pass rusher but could develop into an elite DE if he adds around 15-20 lbs, which he absolutely has the frame to do.
15 - STL: Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
With their second pick, the Rams add some much needed line help. Matthews played RT for the Aggies but shouldn't have much of a problem sliding over to the left side.
16 - NO: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
Werner is a complete end with great size and tons of room to grow. Steve Spagnoulo's scheme needs pass rushers to thrive and they land a good one here.
17 - DAL: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
Dallas needs help on the interior offensive line badly. Warmack is strong in all aspects of the game and should really elevate this offense.
18 - CIN: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
The Bengals have no problem taking project pass rushers. They grab a new one here to replace their old one (Michael Johnson). The difference is that Jordan is a much better player than Johnson was coming out of school and has a higher ceiling too.
19 - TB: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
The run on pass rushers continues. The Bucs would like to add a CB but there are none worth taking here and their DL needs work anyway. Montgomery is more polished than Mingo right now and is much better against the run. He might not have as high a ceiling but he should be a high level starter for a long time.
20 - MIN: Louis Nix, DT, Notre Dame
Louis Nix could end up being the best interior lineman in this draft. He has an endless motor and is a beast against the run, which is exactly what the Vikings need next to Kevin Williams.
21 - PIT: Alex Okafor, DE, Texas
James Harrison won't be back and Jason Worilds has been underwhelming. Okafor will have no problem moving to OLB, but will probably be brought along slowly like most Steeler rookie defenders.
22 - IND: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
Chuck Pagano needs a much stronger defensive line for his scheme to work. Richardson is a versatile player who looks like a strong fit as a 5 tech end in Pagano's 3-4 scheme.
23 - SEA: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
Seattle has been great at addressing areas of need, even if they don't always get great value. Russell Wilson has all of the makings of a franchise QB but needs weapons. Hunter is rounding into form the more he recovers from his injury and should be in top shape by the combine. This pick should open up the Seahawks' offense a great deal.
24 - NYG: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
Jerry Reese never takes a linebacker in the 1st but sometimes the best GMs break convention when necessary. The Giants have a tremendously talented line and secondary but need help at LB. Ogletree can play on all 3 downs and should elevate the balance of the defense right away.
25 - GB: Barrett Jones, OG, Alabama
Whether Saturday returns or not, the Pack could use some help on the interior line. He can start out at guard and move to center when the time is right.
26 - DEN: David Amerson, CB, North Carolina State
David Amerson is a bit of a tweener but does have elite athleticism and almost unheard of size for a CB. He can either play CB and learn from a future hall of famer in Champ Bailey, or begin his career at FS.
27 - CHI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
Chicago has a lot of talent but will never be more than good with the sieve they call an offensive line. Fisher will team with Gabe Carimi to give Jay Cutler a solid pair of bookend tackles for years.
28 - NE: Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia
It is clear that Wes Welker will be gone next year. Austin is a younger, more explosive option in the slot. He might not be great value here but he fits the Pats' scheme well and this is a team that has very few positions of need that lack young depth.
29 - BAL: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas
The Ravens need a lot of help along the o-line as well as an injection of youth on defense. The line can be addressed later with system players (Aboushi?) but a first rate defender to be Ed Reed's successor would be a nice play here. Vaccaro can play both safety spots and is a great athlete. He is a willing tackler, always around the ball, and has the ability to cover slot WRs and TEs.
30 - SF: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
The 49ers continue to add young pieces to the defense. Isaac Sopoaga is a fine nose tackle but is getting up there in age. Jenkins is a talented but raw NT prospect who would benefit greatly from a year learning from a veteran like Sopoaga.
31 - HOU: Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor
The Texans grab a local product with great athleticism to play across from Andre Johnson. The Texans' have a lot of great young pieces on defense but need some more youth to remain effective on offense. They begin that youth movement with this pick.
32 - ATL: Corey Lemonier, DE, Auburn
The Falcons lack a pass rush outside of Jon Abraham as Ray Edwards has been a massive disappointment. Lemonier may not start right away but will provide good depth and will be a strong starting option down the line.

Above Average -- I disagree with the Barkley pick (WAY too high) but you did a good job otherwise and i can tell you put work into this. thanks.
