Average Rank: 2.5 out of 5 (2 votes) -- Rank This Mock Draft

1 - KC: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
Geno has slipped a little bit lately, but even with the slip he's head and shoulders the best QB prospect in this years draft. Kansas City needs a new quarterback. (And coaching staff and front office)
2 - JAX: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
Tough pick. If Gene Smith isn't fired Gabbert will get to continue to grow meaning Barkley isn't an option. It's tough to say the Jags biggest need but linebacker and a pass rusher are up there. Kill two stones with one bird. Did I get that right?
3 - CLE: Matt Barkley, QB, USC
Cleveland is cleaning house. With that comes a new quarterback. Brandon Weedon is already a 30 year old on the decline of his career. Good job Cleveland.
4 - CAR: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
Carolina needs a receiver and a lot of defense. No receiver is good enough for the top 5 this year, maybe Robert Woods but I'm not putting him here yet. The Panthers CAN NOT stop the run, Lotulelei would help Kuechly make more plays in the backfield and clog up the middle.
5 - STL: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
As bad as they are, it is hard to find too many glaring needs for the Rams. The o-line is one of those needs and Joeckel would start at left tackle from day one, sending Saffold to the right side where he'd be a little more effective.
6 - TEN: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
The cream of the defensive end crop is a fluid situation right now, I won't be surprised to see Damontre Moore rise up to around this spot in the draft, but for now Montgomery has done enough to justify this pick. And Tennessee needs him. They need help in the secondary too, but I don't see a prospect fitting of the top ten.
7 - CIN: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
I can't see a MLB going this early, but Te'o is a mighty fine exception. He would be a huge upgrade over Maualuga. Don't rule out a receiver here either, I think Robert Woods would be a smart pick to play opposite A.J. Green.
8 - OAK: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
Bleh, Oakland sucks. Tommy Kelly won't be back, no way, so replacing him with the monstrous Hankins is a good idea. Build from the trenches!
9 - BUF: Robert Woods, WR, USC
They need a quarterback in the worst way, but Tyler Wilson or anybody else would be a reach in my opinion. Take Landry Jones in round 2 and see if he develops, if not take one next year. Woods at least gives Fitzpatrick someone other than Stevie Johnson to throw to.
10 - PHI: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
Philadelphia will want to keep stocking the defense, but they can't afford to ignore the o-line. Danny Watkins was a dumb pick, I knew that as soon as they took him. Back to the drawing board, and Lewan or Jake Matthews would be good picks.
11 - NYJ: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
Like Oakland, the Jets suck. I think they will keep Rex Ryan for whatever reason, meaning Sanchez and Tebow will remain the QB's (blah). Ryan needs to get back to his roots on defense so he needs a legit pass rusher. Mingo will make a darn good 3-4 outside linebacker.
12 - DAL: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
I don't know who the top interior lineman will be by the time the draft rolls around, but the 'boys need him. Matthews would help at right tackle as well, and I could also see Alabama's other guard Barrett Jones since he's more versatile. O-line is the number one need if you can't tell.
13 - NO: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
Defense, defense, and more defense. Will Smith is done, and Cameron Jordan hasn't shown much as a pass rusher. Werner is a good pass rusher with an extremely high ceiling.
14 - STL: Keenan Allen, WR, California
I would maybe take an interior lineman to go with Joekel just to solidify the o-line, but the need for a number one receiver is just to glaring. Allen has all the tools, and has put up really good numbers despite having a terrible quarterback throwing him the ball.
15 - ARI: Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
Ahh I like this pick. Maybe Tyler Wilson, but he would be thrown to the wolves, so the offensive line needs to be addressed before a new quarterback is brought in.
16 - SD: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
San Diego will probably lose Jammer, and Cason is a free agent. Secondary help is needed. As well as a lot of other things.
17 - MIA: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
Personally, I think the Dolphins found a QB they can win a Superbowl with. But not by throwing to Brian Hartline and Davone Bess. Hunter would open things up for this offense in a big way.
18 - TB: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
This is a good team. They have issues in the secondary though. Banks replaces the recently departed Aqib Talib and helps this team get to the playoffs. Unfortunately they're in the same division as the Saints and Falcons.
19 - DET: Barrett Jones, OG, Alabama
The Lions will go with the best player available which could be any number of players. This is the way I would go as I'm a big believer in building from the inside out. Dominic Raiola is old so this is a need. We'll see what they do.
20 - MIN: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
The Vikings defense was at it's best when Kevin Williams had Pat Williams next to him. Johnathan Jenkins might be bigger than Pat, and maybe more athletic.
21 - SEA: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
I'll be honest I don't know where I would go here if I were the Seahawks. The defense is awesome, the main concern would be receivers I suppose. There isn't one worthy of this spot in my opinion, so upgrade Zach Miller who has been a bust (if his expectations were even that high to begin with). Eifert is Kyle Rudolph 2.0 and fits well into the new wave of tight ends coming into the league.
22 - PIT: C.J. Mosley, OLB, Alabama
Mosley is a 3-4 inside linebacker not an outside linebacker so that's what I have MY Steelers selecting him as. As much as I don't like to admit it, the Steel Curtain is getting long in the tooth. Larry Foote is the first defender that needs to be upgraded with youth.
23 - IND: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia
I'm hesitant not to go o-line, but I think Luck has been protected well enough to where the Colts can start to build the defense. I don't think the linebackers are very good so a big athletic guy in the middle of their new 3-4 could help. I think Ogletree may be able to play OLB too if he didn't work out inside.
24 - GB: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
How many times do the Packers have to go offensive tackle until they get a good one. Rodgers deserves an elite o-line so give it to him. Fisher is a carbon copy of the 49'rs Joe Staley, also from Central Michigan.
25 - DEN: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
Here's my guy. I do really like the way Moore plays, and the Broncos need someone on the outside so they can keep Derek Wolfe inside.
26 - NE: Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor
I saw this pick on another mock draft website and I really liked it. Give Brady a legit receiver who has speeeeed, and they set more records. Brandon Lloyd and Williams outside, Welker and those tight ends inside.. wow.
27 - NYG: Sylvester Williams, DT, North Carolina
Defensive line for the New York defensive linemen. It's worked so far, so keep it going. They really need a linebacker but I don't see one good enough for round one.
28 - SF: Eric Reid, FS, LSU
I don't have a good feeling about Dashon Golson coming back. Help is needed, and Reid is probably the best option.
29 - BAL: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
Baltimore misses Ben Grubbs in the running game and in pass protection. Note that this is the second need of this team but no inside linebacker is worth this spot.
30 - CHI: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
As good as Chicago's defense is, they could use a few upgrades at defensive tackle. Unfortunately they won't be in position to get an elite OFFENSIVE tackle this year.
31 - HOU: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
Pipe dream. Houston would be sooo good with a legit receiver across from Andre Johnson. No other upgrades are really needed so maybe they'll actually get one this year.
32 - ATL: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
You can't have enough defensive backs. And who knows if Brent Grimes will be fully recovered next year.

Above Average -- Great looking draft...disagree with Barkley not being #1 and I think Smith isn't the real deal. But other than that....awesome!
