1 - KC: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
The Chiefs go for the player most likely to turn into a franchise QB, something they've been lacking for a long time
2 - JAX: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
The Jaguars take the best player on the board here. Lotulelei would fill a major need for them as a replacement for Alualu
3 - CLE: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
The Browns need to find a really good DE to pair with Jabaal Sheard. Montgomery is the best 43 DE in the draft, and the best player they can take
4 - CAR: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
The Panthers need a massive DT to clog the middle of their defense. Hankins is a monster, and would immediately make this team better
5 - BUF: Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas
The Bills take the safer of the 2 remaning QBs. Barkley is good, but will be limited to a West Coast scheme. Wilson's big arm should make him a prime target for Buffalo
6 - OAK: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
The Raiders take the best player on the board here. Jones profiles as a 34 OLB, but he'd be fine in a 43 as a pass rush specialist. Think Von Miller, but better in coverage
7 - TEN: Bjoern Werner, DE, Florida State
The Titans take the best pass rushing DE on the board. Werner is a beast, and will only get better as he continues to learn the game
8 - STL: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
The Rams need a LT, and Joeckel is the best on the board. They'd be crazy to let him slip pas them here
9 - CIN: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
The Bengals take the best player on the board, and fill their biggest need at MLB. Rey Maluga would be much better as a SLB, and they'd be a good duo
10 - NO: Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU
The Saints take the best player available, and get a pass rusher to plug at OLB or DE depending on how he adjusts his weight for the NFL
11 - STL: Keenan Allen, WR, California
(from WAS) Allen is the best WR on the board, and the Rams have a massive need for one
12 - NYJ: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
The Jets shouldn't be tempted by Matt Barkley if Moore is on the board. They need an outside pass rusher, and Moore is the best one on the board
13 - DAL: Jonathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
The Cowboys considered taking Poe last year but went with Claiborne. This year they pick up a really good NT, and can move Ratliff to DE
14 - PHI: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
The Eagles are another team that shouldnt be tempted by Barkley. Their line has been awful this year, and they need to address it. Jason Peters will be back next season, and adding Lewan at RT, and as an eventual successor would be a good call here
15 - TB: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
Milliner is a steal here. The Bucs need to repalce Talib, and they get a much better player here
16 - DET: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State
The Lions need to get themselves a really good CB, and this is their chance to do it. Banks and Milliner are both going to be really good players
17 - ARI: Matt Barkley, QB, USC
The Cardinals might as well take a shot at Barkley. Kolb and Skelton are wildly inconsistent , and inaccurate. Barkley would be a massive step up
18 - SD: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
The Chargers take the best WR on the board, and get Rivers a real #1 WR with good size and excellent speed
19 - MIA: Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
The Dolphins get Tannehill the best target in the draft. Eifert has a ways to go as a blocker, but his size and speed will make him a matchup nightmare, especially in the endzone
20 - MIN: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
The Vikings take a bit of a reach here, but land themselves an excellent DT that should develop into a building block for this defense
21 - SEA: C.J. Mosley, OLB, Alabama
The Seahawks land their final starting LB here. Mosley, Wright and Wagner would be a tough 2nd level to get past
22 - NYG: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
The Giants take the best player on the board, and fill one of their biggest needs with a monster guard
23 - IND: Robert Woods, WR, USC
The Colts know that Reggie Wayne will not be around forever, and they'll need someone to fill his shoes. A WR corps of Wayne, Woods and TY Hilton would be excellent for Luck
24 - NE: Eric Reid, FS, LSU
The Patriots need a safety, badly. Reid is a monster, and has excellent value here
25 - BAL: Arthur Brown, ILB, Kansas State
The Ravens go get a replacement for Ray Lewis. Brown is smaller, but much, much faster, and sees the field just as well
26 - PIT: David Amerson, CB, North Carolina State
Ike Taylor should be let go after this season, and they'll have a massive hole at CB. Amerson is more developed than Rhodes, and can step in right away as a starter
27 - GB: Barrett Jones, OG, Alabama
The Packers would love Reid or Amerson, but if they're gone, they'll likely look for a center or guard. Jones can play either position, and would be a nice addition to this team
28 - SF: Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon
The 49ers get an outside pass rusher to pair with Aldon Smith. This defense just got a little scarier
29 - CHI: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
The Bears get a real LT to protect Cutler's blindside. Webb should be relegated to swing-tackle duty, and Fisher and Carimi would be good bookends for this line
30 - DEN: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
The Broncos take the best defensive back on the board, and tab a successor to Champ Bailey
31 - HOU: Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
The Texans didn't really repalce Eric Winston, and they shouldn't pass on Matthews if he's on the board. He and Duane Brown would be an excellent foundation
32 - ATL: Alex Okafor, DE, Texas
The Falcons get the best 43 DE on the board. Abraham isn't getting younger, and Ray Edwards has been a huge disappointment
