2013 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:

Steve Beauharnais, ILB, Rutgers

Rutgers Scarlet Knights inside linebacker Steve Beauharnais is an instinctual run defender with limited coverage skills. Rotational player who may never develop the fluidity to cover. Reads keys quickly and can diagnose the run. Fills lanes and can absorb a block while keeping a shoulder open for the ball-carrier. Flows to the football well. Athleticism is average. Durable and productive. Legit QB of the defense and leader. Big hitter without leading the ground. Good run fits. Must disengage from blockers more cleanly. Bigger blockers will latch on too easily.
