2013 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
person

Will Davis, CB, Utah State

Utah State Aggies cornerback Will Davis is an early round prospect with quick, choppy feet and a risk-taking play style.

Good change of direction skills and footwork. Inconsistent fluidity when flipping his hips to turn upfield. Lacks the recovery speed to bounce back when beaten by a double move. Lacks physicality to his game. Must stick his match-up more fiercely in press-man coverage. Tackling skills are lacking and prefers to wrap-up and hang on. The fundamentals are lacking almost across the board. Man-to-man coverage feels a step behind too often. Better in zone, but his inconsistent tackling make him a risky option since one missed tackle can be broken for big gains.
