2013 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:

Mychal Rivera, TE, Tennessee

Tennessee Volunteers tight end Mychal Rivera has a bulked-up wide receiver's frame and was a former transfer from the University of Oregon. Should work the short and intermediate routes very well. Can find the seams and weak areas in coverage consistently. Will need more power in his lower half to contribute as an in-line blocker. Active feet when blocking. Big, reliable hands. Good hand-eye coordination. Straight line speed is adequate. Not particularly agile. Looks to run through contact after the catch. Good bend and flexibility.
