2013 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
person

David Bass, DE, Missouri Western State

Missouri Western State defensive end David Bass is a size and speed, developmental prospect. Earned a lot of playing time against lower level competition. Good quickness that can translate into a power rush. Will need time adjusting to NFL speed and strength. Depth player only for at least one full season. Excellent intensity when rushing the passer. Less active against the run. Must continue to work on total body strength. Excelled in some respects at the East-West Shrine Bowl. Slow to disengage from blocks against better competition.
