University of Tennessee at Martin defensive tackle Montori Hughes is a wide space-eater prospect with flashes of above-average agility. Some character red flags will have likely pushed him down in the draft towards the later rounds. Suspended twice, violated team rules and had to transfer out of the University of Tennessee. Needs to be more physical against the run. Can anchor well one-on-one and even against double teams. Has a nice swim move when attacking the A-gap. Needs to improve his ability to disengage and keep his inside shoulder free to occupy his gap.
