2013 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
person

Tyler Bray, QB, Tennessee

Tennessee Volunteers quarterback Tyler Bray has the prototypical NFL-ready height and arm strength to be in the conversation as one of the Top 5 at his position in the 2013 draft class.

Bray and his Volunteers struggled in 2012 after high offseason expectations. He is a lean prospect for a player with his long frame. He could afford to add more bulk to his frame. As mentioned, his arm strength is great and one of his best assets. Delivers the football with high velocity and has a snappy, compact throwing motion. Accuracy is also very good whether it is a short or long pass.

When forced from the pocket, he can be a little careless with his technique. Can throw the ball from multiple release points and is one of the more accurate passers in this draft.

A heavy pass rush gives him happy feet. He will bail early on throws and force the ball where it shouldn't. Many scouts question his mental toughness to stand and deliver when the blitz is on.

Bray projects as a third round selection in the 2013 NFL Draft.
