2013 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
person

Spencer Ware, RB, LSU

LSU running back Spencer Ware is a former high school quarterback who blossomed into a solid contributor for the Tigers offense. Average speed. Lacks a second gear. Well built. North-south runner. Good patience when hitting the line. Can break arm tackles and churns legs through contact. Moves the pile. Below-average lateral agility. Failed a drug test. Upright runner and absorbs too much contact. Average burst and quickness. Not naturally elusive. Great fit for a run-first, power offense. Must find a way to contribute on special teams.
