2013 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:

Micah Hyde, CB, Iowa

Iowa Hawkeyes cornerback Micah Hyde is a versatile defensive back prospect who could fit many roles in the NFL. Will likely get a shot at either corner or free safety. At his best in zone coverages. Sufficient recovery speed. Tight hips and ankles. Willing tackler. Gets downhill fast against the run. Should also find a role on special teams. A depth and developmental player. Good take-on skills for a player of his size. Straight-line speed doesn't show up well on tape. Productive player with 78 tackles, 14 pass deflections, one INT and a forced fumble last season.
