2013 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:

Knile Davis, RB, Arkansas

A string of injuries have slowed Arkansas Razorbacks running back Knile Davis, but they have not stopped him. This hard-running prospect figures to be an early round selection and should see the field in a limited role as a rookie.

Quickly evaluates, follows his blocker, and hits the correct hole. Nice burst through the line of scrimmage. Must continue to churn lower body to gain extra yards. Yards after contact is less than expected. Explosive speed and lateral agility prior to injury. Had a really nice jump cut, which he still relies on. Has not yet returned to his pre-injury level, but is very close. Limited third down potential. Average hands and pass protection still needs work. Has the size to improve.

Too often runs into the back of his offensive linemen. Ball security is concerning. Runs between the tackles. Very narrow in his waist and should consider adding more strength in his thighs. Balance is below average at best and runs too high. Opens himself up to injuries.
