2013 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
person

John Boyett, FS, Oregon

What Oregon free safety John Boyett lacks in athleticism, he makes up with a cerebral, intelligent approach to the game. Elite level diagnosis and read/react to plays. Disciplined and tries to stay one step ahead of offenses. Undersized. Plays faster on tape than his timed speeds. Good playmaking skills and hands. Very aggressive style of play at times. Not explosive. Sometimes sloppy in his coverage techniques. Must continue to overachieve at the next level. Some medical concerns will push him towards the back-end of the draft.
