2012 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
Kellen Moore, QB, Boise State
The elephant in the room, so to speak, for Moore is that he is undersized. NFL types love the big 6'6" Ryan Mallett guys and Moore is only 6'. With that size, he has adequate arm strength, but he isn't going to wow anyone at the combine. Moore played mostly out of the shotgun formation. Naturally, NFL teams are working around this deficiency in today's game, but playing under center is something he'll need to work on.
Boise State's offense relied on Moore making a lot of quick reads and throws. He typically took great care of the football. Moore is ultimately a game manager quarterback with above-average accuracy. His long wind-up will turn off a lot of GMs. In the end, his combination of intelligent play and winning ways will carry him in the draft. The pros certainly outweigh the cons, but most of the cons deal solely with his physical limitations (size, arm strength, mobility).

I like what BigHogs is saying, but i think he may go to Washington in the third round, while they pick a reciever/TE to give him some weapons

I think he will slip and be drafted much later then most think he should be. I do think he can play in the NFL in the right system.

I think that the demand for QB is very high nowadays. I think he goes in the 4th to a contender with an "older" QB. Could see him going to the Saints, Broncos, Patriots. Other teams include Colts, Redskins and Dolphins because usually when someone drafts a QB in the 1st round they like to grab one later.

I like the guy, he was a giant killer in college but i seen alot of QBs like him get shafted in the draft and in the pros. On strictly watching the games i can honestly say that he reminds me of Miami Hurricanes QB, Ken Dorsey. Although he didnt pan out i think Kellen could... given on who grabs him. Hopefully some team that has a similar style of offense he came from will give him a fair shot because i think he can defy the notion of what the "Prototypical" QB is supposed to be.

I think that Kellen Moore would be the perfect QB for the Saints to draft say 3-5 round he could sit behind Brees for a few years and learn the system then when the time is right i think he could step right in and take over.Hey if this guy is 2-4 inches taller he is a top 5 pick.
