Jordan White Scouting Report

Jordan White's collegiate career did not start out too well. During his first three years at Western Michigan, White missed two of them due to injury. However, when he did play in 2007, White showed plenty of promise and caught 19 passes for 217 yards and a touchdown. Unfortunately for White, he missed the entire 2008 season, but he was ready to pick up where he left off in 2009.

White missed a few games in 2009, but he still earned Third-Team All-MAC accolades and ranked second on the team with 53 receptions for 681 yards and four touchdowns. White also started returning punts and proved to be a relatively dangerous return man. Finally completely healthy in 2010, White had a career year. In a program that has had some great wide receivers, White set a school record with 1,378 receiving yards and seven 100-yard games. The following year, he outdid himself once again when he caught 140 passes for 1,911 yards with 17 TDs.

White is moving up draft boards after his superb senior season. The fact that he has remained healthy for the better part of two seasons is making his injury concerns less of an issue. At 6-0 and 211 pounds, White has pretty good size and he can take some hits.
