2011 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
Pat Devlin, QB, Delaware
Devlin did see some playing time while at Penn State. As a sophomore in 2008 he passed for 459 yards and four touchdowns and added a couple more scores with his legs. His most memorable game was against top ranked Ohio State when Devlin was forced into action and led the team to a 13-6 victory. Devlin immediately stepped into a starting role with the Blue Hens in 2009 and ended up passing for 2,664 yards, 16 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He often forced passes, but that issue went away for the most part in 2010 when the 6-4 senior threw for 22 touchdowns and a mere three interceptions. The result was a trip to the FCS National Championship game and a slew of accolades for Devlin.
Devlin is a relatively mobile quarterback and has decent arm strength. He will have some trouble making the deep pass or the out-route pass and that is a big concern. He has to fix that if he wants to repeat the success of Flacco in the NFL.

Needs another year to work on mechanics and allow scouts to see more tape on him.

With teams needing qbs so badly i can see a team reaching from him after a 22 td 3 int season even if it wasn't against the best of competition
