Jevan Snead, QB, Mississippi

Snead has all the physical tools to make an impact at the next level. The Ole Miss signal-caller stands in at 6'3' and 218 pounds and his strong arm will allow him to convert all the throws required of an NFL quarterback. Still, Snead has failed to capitalize on an opportunity to move up draft boards through five games this season. Sam Bradford has missed time with a shoulder injury and the NFL jury is still out on Tim Tebow and Jimmy Clausen. Snead, however, had tossed nine touchdowns and nine interceptions heading into Mississippi's sixth contest of the year and was completing a dismal 46.8 percent of his passes during that span. Sure, it does not help playing behind a depleted offensive line that lost star tackle Michael Oher, but Snead needs to improve individually if he wants any chance at a Top 10 spot in the 2010 draft. Regardless of his statistics, he looks like a safe draft pick. Snead is relatively mobile in the pocket, especially for a quarterback of his size. He will also come without any injury history or off-the-field baggage, so that can only help his standing with NFL teams. If he works on his accuracy and decision-making over the course of the season, he should be a first-round selection next April (assuming he leaves the Rebels after his junior campaign). Better stats would also help, although those will come with the territory if he improves in the two aforementioned departments.

Prediction: 5th Round

Oh Jevan, Jevan, Jevan why did you have to leave. Enough with that, but seriously the decision to leave Ole Miss before his senior season. He had extremely high expectations coming into 2009 and he totally failed to deliver. The guy was an interception machine. He has the perfect size and great arm but at times it was just painful to watch him. Without McCluster at the end I truely dont know if Ole Miss finishes above .500. His decision making has to get better, and the accuracy must become average at least. If the kid had waited a year and gotten a little better is a first to second round pick now he is a 5th rounder at best

Prediction: 7th Round

Terrible decision to come out. I watched a lot of his games because I thought he had a chance to be the best QB coming out this year. He was awful.

Prediction: 5th Round

Maybe to a team with an aging QB....such as Indy or Seattle. Could use a few years as understudy...then who know with the right guidance....

Prediction: 2nd Round

2nd round. Has the tools to succeed, just needs to learn. Could go to a team with a startin QB but nonreal back-ups like the Texans. Bad decision to come out though

Prediction: 3rd Round

SNead came out early and that was a mistake. But the skills that had him hyped as a future top 10 pick are in there somewhere, and a team intrigued by that can take a flyer in the third and let him sit and develop.
