Brandon James, RB, Florida

James did a little bit of everything for Florida this season. He caught 24 passes for 215 yards and one touchdown and rushed 20 times for 109 yards, but he specialized--as always--in returning kicks. James took 29 kickoffs for 756 yards (good for a 26.1 average) and returned one all the way for a touchdown. He also had 33 punt returns for 244 yards. James has been synonymous with Florida's return game for four straight years, dating back to his freshman campaign in 2006. A special teams force year in and year out, James garnered All-SEC honors from the conference's coaches as a junior. James' best asset, of course, is his incredible speed. He has been clocked as fast as 4.32 in the 40-yard dash, so it's likely that there will be at least some kind of place for him at the next level. Still, James comes with plenty of concerns, even in addition to his size (5'6', 185 pounds). He was arrested in 2007 for marijuana possession and although his injury history is scarce, he missed spring practice in 2009 after fracturing a bone in his right foot. While there is a chance James could go undrafted, he should hear his name called sometime on Day 2 of the 2010 NFL Draft. He is so explosive that NFL teams will be able to line him up at running back and receiver every now and then, although it's obvious he will see almost all of his work as a return man. Simply because of his big-play ability, coaches and scouts will be taking a long, hard look at James come this spring.

Prediction: Undrafted

James is just too small to have any type of NFL career, he has the speed to be areturn man but wouldn't be able to shed even the weakest of arm tackles.
